  YES - I think people enjoy my company because I am a "people person." I really love being around other people and enjoy making them comfortable and their time with me enjoyable. I like to have fun but don't always have to be the center of attention.

  Dubs like to paint the picture of us as unhappy so doubters (on the edge apostates) will be afraid to join our ranks.

  Lurkers: Come into the (supposed) darkness! Not only do we have cookies, but the sun is shining so brightly you'll have to wear shades. Choose your own future NOW!!!!

  I can't imagine anyone that has ever been around me thinking I am disgruntled or bitter in any way.

  A Secret about DF'ing that Elders will NEVER tell you.

  when i discussed this with some ex-jws in the past, they have pointed out to me that the following is not done in actual pracrice.

  of course it is not done in practrice ... that is why i referred to it as a "secret" because elders do not normally disclose such information, either because they fear its effect, or because they have not thoroughly paid attention to the "pay attention" book.

  in this post, i am not arguing about actual practice ... rather what the undisclosed, withheld, secretive information is ... and how being armed may allow """some""" jws to relax their conscience.. a secret that elders will not openly tell you.

  I wrote a letter and DA'd myself while still stupidly believing the bullshit. I thought I was the problem. Actually went through the whole re-instatement process 10 years later. It took a few years to really figure things out and get the hell out of Dodge.

  Yeah I saw that. Funny thing is that she says she's gotten nasty messages again from James Banta. I added him as a friend thinking he was an ex JW and sent him a message saying so. he assured me he was a "faithful son of the kingdom" ( I just threw up a little in the back of my mouth) and we chatted for a bit about problems with the GB. He, of course, stood behind them. Now he is giving the person who started the group shit. Makes me wonder.
