I would like to know how people got the German versions of their KMs for September, but there hasnt been a peep about the english version... Good question, I was talking to someone last night about this, and said not to go anywhere with it as it is probably just a rumour, as no one in Bethel here have heard anything about.

by Philippus79 indoes anyone know or have a scan of the km 09/07.
in the german edition the question is raised and answered if the "faithful and discreet slaves" encourages biblestudy groups who study "deeper" topics.
obviously the answer is "no" don't do that the slaves feeds you more than enough.. i could do with an english copy.

Aren't Jehovah's Witnesses just living in a ''Comfort Zone''?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy immediate family,aunts,uncles,and cousins have been members for over 25 years.
they attend every meeting,put in their 10 hours of monthly sevice,attend assemblies out of state every year,give talks at the ministry school,avoid "worldly friends'',and do everything the wts requires of them.
they really can't see that the wts has lied to them and will continue until someone steps back and opens their eyes.. what needs to happen in order for someone to get out of the ''comfort zone''?

There are some very honest good people that are faithful to Jehovah and that is basically it, many do all these things like, meetings, witnessing, studies and so on because they really love Jehovah and believe it is the truth, some are institutionalised and others are just living a double life whatever.
The big test will seperate those that are in it for themselves or the WTBTS or those that truly love Jehovah and will be faithful regardless, just because the org or the GB appear to be currupt, it doesn't make all Jehovahs people that way, nor does it make the entire org that way. If people really know their bible they will see that very difference as even Jesus said about the wicked slave and faithful slave residing together until the master comes and throws the wicked slave out, many in the org because of the erroneous teachings of the WTS think that has already happened, but those that have studied the bible know that is yet to happen, those faithful to Jehovah are waiting.
Weather that is living in a comfort zone for some yest for some no and for others they dont really care.

not only are they being fooled by false teachings but they are not presenting the god of the bible jesus christ.
all through the bible the apostles never mention "jehovah" but called god or jesus the "lord".

You're intitled to you're interpretation of the bible and worship of the trinity whatever. none of the prophets prior to Jesus the ones that are mentioned in Hebrews 11 worshiped Jesus did they, nor did they worship anyone other than a mono God Jehovah, as I said you're entitled to worship Jesus if thats who you think is God, I myself believe he was god like, a reprensentation of his father, after all he did say the father was greater than him and that no one knows the time or day not even the son only the father, and there are hundreds of others, we both know where this will head so just as you will never see I won't see you're interpretations either.

a jw friend of mine was speaking about the moment that witnesses "realise that it's the truth".
they didn't say anymore... so i guess that they feel there is a pattern ??.

When I found out that the WTS actively sought out association with the United Nations, and promoted them in the Awake magazine, the real awful TRUTHhit me like a ton of bricks..........

I was born into a family of child abusers and religious hypocrites, I hated religion but believed in a God a loving God I could never not. So when someone called on my door with the Kingdom hope I was open to it, I had just came back from seeing the movie, The Exocist, oh that was a turn around for me. At the time i was into the Eric von Dinikin shit, The Chariots of The Gods, I really believed it, until Crash goes the Gods came out.
Long very long story (which by the way is fasinating) cut short, I studied got baptised and threw up a few times, but one thing that always made me fell uncomfortable was this elitism. I hate the I am better than anyone that is so prominate in the org............just a few notes.

The elders serving whose interests?
by greendawn inthe wts claims that the elders are an arrangement by jehovah to lovingly take care of his flock.
this is a typically misleading statement by the fds using the usual smooth talking and references to a divine connection to deceive the r&f.
neither the elders are jehovah's arrangement nor the jws are jehovah's flock.

Thanks DocBob.. it figures, especially since the abuse cases, I guess someone that had people skills and a degree in law or worked for a solicitor would be a better candidate for elder ahead of the others...cynicle aren't I have lost so much trust and feel like I am part of a company.

journey-on I agree with everything you have said... I have long believed that would get to the point of choosing between the WTBTS and GB and the christian congregation. I really think that their is an evil slave in the tower and a power stuggle is imminent. We just had a CD on all the African congo being built and they showed the poor b/s putting all they had in the contribution box's but of course wasn't enough to pay for the halls so those in the poor countries need financial help and assistance in building another 13,000 KH they need money, and volunteers, people with skills, another Con/box for this has been put in all KH world wide.

Maybe it has something to do with what is coming up in the Sep; KM about personal bible reading and sharing and not to read up on history, or the learn languages such as Hebrew or Aramaic, this is what is being said. That in itself is heavy enough to make people want to question the borg, I hope they do it, because those that had doubts will probably walk, and it will create doubts in others, only the institutionlised and society b/s will stay, were in for some very interesting times ahead.
