It has been said that history began with war and poetry. Aeschylus the tragic poet who wrote Agamemnon (above) fought in the battle of Marathon. He also lost his brother in that battle. The battle was won against huge odds so it was both a tragedy and something to be proud of for Aeschylus.

as a parent I would love to be invited but if I was as devout as your parents are I probably wouldn't come to the wedding but would tell you so that you'd know for sure I wouldn't be coming. But I would secretly hope that after the wedding you would send me a couple of wedding pictures so I that I can look at them when I'm by myself.

At our present hall the 4 congregations that use it don't have to fork out for rent or mortgage as we have freehold property rights. I wonder how much this will change when everyone moves to the new property.
