If Jesus chose men and appointed them as his discreet and faithful slave while they were celebrating pagan holidays and birthdays, smoking tobacco,
using the cross...etc...wouldn't it be presumptuous for appointed men to disfellowship someone for these same offences today?

Literature carts are the cruisiest way to preach ever - photo attached
by jwfacts init was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.
in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.
i could not work out who were the jws attending them.

How many got DF'd for apostacy because they saw the light before the org. Will the org. call them up & apologize.....just asking..

When Watchtower predicted Armageddon in 1914 or the return of the ancient worthies in 1925; told young people not to get married or have children; not to go to College ; changed the generation teaching at least 5 times ;When the Governing Body started focussing on 1975; This was of course was done out of eagerness not running ahead of Jah
(A) You are to wait on Jehovah... which means waiting on the FDS.
Or answer (B) We are making enough blunders and needed retractions already... why would we want to add yours to the mixed not to mention every other Tom Dick snd Harry idea's? Isn't there enough confusion already ?

Why do you think they changed their mind on organ transplants?
by Separation of Powers infrom 1967 to early 1980, the watchtower stated that organ transplants were tantamount to "cannibalism.
" then, suddenly, the position was changed to organ transplants being a "conscience matter.
" so, my question, why the change?

They actually said that people's spiritual health & relationship with God depended on the gb?
No but it wasinferred or implied.. compare for yourself what the message was though the message is broken into two separate statements

A man of letters is someone who is an expert in the arts and literature, and often a writer too
The Governing Body (note the capital "G" and the capital "B") was not formally established as such until 1971 . From about 1932 to 1971
the ones primarily looked to as directing the org. were the President and Vice-President"from one ... to the many ....to the few"
1896- 1916) the Watchtower pointed to only Russell himself as the FDS.
1919 ..all anointed alive part of FDS ? thousands ? the board of directors ? though all actual control was President then later president & vice president (1932-1971 )

Funny thing is 99% of the writing is NOT done by the Governing body....they just rubber stamp what someone else wrote.
But ...."The Magnificent 8" have spoken !! (Well the writers wrote it... they gave it "the stamp of approval")

i asked him what he thought about the "no bibles" situation.
he said the literature servant told him that there will be a new bible released at the annual meetin.
