I believe many will enjoy your posts but feel intimated or unqualified to answer to you in corresponding poetic and
intelligent manner. Comments like" there's no one else like " while flattering and sincere may spell the kiss of death
for input and response !
Those to have few words posts that generate huge response is because it's more like everyday coffee break..
" free for all" light discussion.. a comfort zone most easily reached by most ! The elegant flow of words from a

The deeper the thought the more pondering time required.. the more difficult to answer.. the more likelihood
for most simply the admire the thoughts and pass on answering . Also precise expression leave little room
for other answers or unfinished thoughts.Your polite and gentle manner leaves little room for controversy or
indignant irritation ! This is CoCo in a nut shell ( maybe a coconut shell )

Does Freewill require the presence of evil ?
by caliber inthe free will defence for god.
to justify the existence of evil and suffering, despite god being all powerful and benevolent, it is said that free will is of such high worth that it is worth the risk of us using it to create evil.

free will is of such high worth that it is worth the risk of us using it to create evil.
The question of God's rightness of rule may seem to us a needless long and drawn out process but
compared to all eternity it is not so ! The example of a woman taking a drug to prevent her own suffering
while pregnant is only short term gain but long to term pain for her offspring .This is exactly opposite to God's
plan of short term ( very relatively speaking ) pain for long term permanent gain ! It is gain for all parties involved,
So then in effect God now says to you.. "take the pain not the thioantimonite .. then in a future day you shall
behold your most healthy and beautiful child as a lasting blessing to your suffering ! "

Independent Thinking: Is it Wrong?
by cameo-d injust for a moment imagine that we had visitors from outer space and they said they were here representing god.
suppose they gave a good expalantion, saying that they are showing themselves because we are on the verge of annhiliation with wars, genocide, and toxic poisoning.. suppose their remedy for the situation was a new teaching which was basically some metaphysical-type platitudes.. and the first thing that has to go is individuality.
they would use more esoterical language.

The Free Will Defence for God
To justify the existence of evil and suffering, despite God being all powerful and benevolent, it is said that free will is of such high worth that it is worth the risk of us using it to create evil. The argument against God
God, as all powerful, chose to create evil. God chose to create suffering, pain, misery... and it made it so that we could choose to accept these things and if we made bad choices these things could happen to us. It also made it more than possible for us to do evil and create suffering ourselves, it made it likely. But the existence of evil is not required for free will. -

Freewill - does it really exist?

For those who feel that freewill does not truly exist.. are they not somehow forced to believe in
Predestination ? Even in this area comes a distinction of Predestination and FOREORDAINATION
PREDESTINATION , n. The doctrine that all things occur according to
programme. This doctrine should not be confused with that of
Foreordination, which means that all things are programmed, but does
not affirm their occurrence, that being only an implication from other
doctrines by which this is entailed( God's ultimate plan for this universe )"There many wide and varied roads of distinction to the ultimate hub of truth."~~ Caliber

It really comes down to Freewill versus Determinism
The Argument of Moral Responsibility states that if determinism were true, no person would be able to change his actions, therefore no one could ever be held morally responsible for his own actions. Common sense tells us that we can change our actions by our own choice.
2. We can and have overcome our desires and inclinations. Both common sense and fact show that we can actively change our behavior. Determinism reply: We only perceive that we can change our actions and behavior.
3. We do not feel compelled to act. At the time of a decision, we feel we have had other choices. Determinism reply: Such feelings of control are illusions; we are just ignorant of all the irresistible forces acting upon us.
4. At a certain time we feel that we could have chosen to act differently. Determinist reply: Our behavior is already determined by previous events. Therefore you can not change your behavior.
ii. The Implications of Determinism: Man becomes nothing more than a puppet. ( I don't feel like just a puppet )
All the debate here is the result of external powers and forces that limit or influence any would be choice we have .
The balance in understanding is soft determinism....( freewill like so many things is never absolute)
An action may result from having a reason that one could not change, but the reasons themselves are not considered actions. Therefore, as long as we are not coerced, we can have a free action. An act may be entirely determined, yet be free in the sense that it was voluntary and not coerced.
