I couldn't agree more with every word Snowbird has said !!!!....
ooooo, the sparkley colors!
i just found out that i have migraine auras without the headache and what they are.
it's pretty but irritating trying to read and watch tv.
I have no trouble with this but interesting stuff about causes that many of you mentioned already
The biological causes of migraines are unknown, but many precipitating factors have been identified. Stress, premenstrual changes, alcohol consumption, hunger, or the use of oral contraceptives can cause migraines in some persons.
Certain foods may produce attacks; these include red wine, chocolate, aged cheese, milk, chicken livers, meats preserved in nitrates, or foods prepared with monosodium glutamate. Some persons report that exposure to sunlight or exercise can trigger attacks.
Ocular migraines may be more common in
Dr. Rick Wilson: Dr. Mark Moster, who is a neurologist, would be much better at explaining that than I am. The ocular migraine has the visual changes that are not followed by a headache. The classic migraine has the classic "fortification scotoma" (a zigzag shimmering line across the vision on either the right or left half of both eyes), followed a short time later by a severe, one-sided headache and often nausea. The common migraine may not have all the "classic" scotomata (visual changes), but usually has one-sided visual changes, followed by a one-sided headache.
P: Does the aura usually occur on the same side as the migraine headache will occur?
Dr. Rick Wilson: It's usually on the opposite side, since the left half of the brain sees the right half of the vision, and vice versa.

You Know You're Getting Old When... You're asleep, but others worry that you're dead. |
these things are extemely popular.
they seem to share the common ingredients of taurine and caffiene, flavorings, and either an artificial sweentener or sugar.. my youngest son has invested in a distributor deal for one of the up and coming brands that is concentrated and sold in a little 2 swallow bottle, rather than a big 12 or 16oz can.
he has vending machines and counter displays.
According to the slogan, Red Bull gives you wings. But what else exactly does Red Bull and other energy drinks provide? Questions have been raised over the safety of energy drinks ever since we learned of their caffeine content. And despite claims to improve performance, stimulate the metabolism and increase concentrationNo authority has ever discovered or proven an unhealthy effect in or from Red Bull,” says the company spokesman. “We could only have such global sales because health authorities have concluded it is safe to consume. No one has ever shown a link between Red Bull and harmful effects.”
After independent scientific research, Britain’s Food Standards Agency believes energy drinks such as Red Bull are as safe as any other drinks for adults to consume in moderation.
Yes I think it give me a little buzz... to me it's just a more concentrated caffeine fix with a sweet taste
There are other energy drink which are much stronger.. can't think of names right now .
Caffeine can increase anxiety, panic, some stomach problems, and some cardiac arrhythmias. Although some data suggest that drinking coffee can be good for you, "we should not mistake coffee or caffeine as a health food," Griffiths said.
other ingredients .. found in other drinks
i learned how to do this in 4th grade, but got rusty over the years.. a refresher course helped me to see that it really works!.
also, if you want to know if a number with 2 or more digits is divisible by 3, add the digits - which sum will be smaller - to see if the sum is divisible by 3.. sylvia.
Snowbird you got me on anything to do with "casting out nines "
but 9 is always a troublesome number anyway .....
Nine is, without doubt, the most troublesome number in etymology. Phrases of uncertain parentage that include 'nine' are 'cloud nine' and the infamous 'whole nine yards'. To those we can add 'dressed to the nines'.
Numerous attempts have been made to associate the number nine with clothing and so to explain the phrase's derivation. One theory has it that tailors used nine yards of material to make a suit (or according to some authors, a shirt). The more material you had the more status, although nine yards seems generous even for a fop.
honestly, i never believed in the chronology.
"no man knows the day or the hour" was pretty clear to me..
it's just around the corner" 'Well it's been a pretty long corner !"..Bethel speaker
Minimus,
I think I can safely state that we are not just a on" a long corner".. but rather have been sent on many detours
down many roads and have yet to get back on the original road !!
honestly, i never believed in the chronology.
"no man knows the day or the hour" was pretty clear to me..
One of the last programs I was at likely 15 years ago ,a Bethel speaker actually said...
We have heard "it's just around the corner" 'Well it's been a pretty long corner !"
You could have heard a pin dropped in the audience ;he went on with more thoughts
but this one idea remained burnt in my brain from the talk !
honestly, i never believed in the chronology.
"no man knows the day or the hour" was pretty clear to me..
Not only in my life did I believe but first before ever marrying.. then before my children
grew up, then before my children left home, then before be coming a grandparent .
Only the last expectation remains to fall next month ! However it has been 15 year since I put any stock in dates
alone !
"No man knows the day or the hour" . We actually had an anointed man who reasoned this thought away
by saying "we may not know the day or hour..but we do know the year (1975 )
