  an amazing thing happened to me today.. i was in a neighbouring suburb, and wandered into a nondescript second-hand bookshop.

  i asked where the religious books were, and the elderly shop-keeper pointed to the single shelf, stacked full with books.. amongst them was a faded red book entitled, "studies in the scriptures series 7 - the finished mystery".. i could not believe my luck.

  here was a rare book, sitting innocently amongst books far younger than their companion.. i gingerly opened it up and browsed its contents.

  you go girl!!!! that is such a hard book to get. i have only heard about that book and i was told that it is not published anymore. a friend of mine claimed to have the book but she did not allow anyone to even touch it. she would show it to us from afar sitting in her bookcase.

  i've been reading up on beth sarim.

  once, when i was out in servive, a householder mentioned that rutherford had lived in a mansion.

  i thought it was a lie that some evil apostate made up.

  at work i had this discussion with some of my buds, ..... what is the thing about the british, and irish, with drinking warm beer?

  i just wanted to know if anyone out there knew the stats for bethelite marriages ending happily ever after.

  whenever i would visit bethel, it seemed as though all the married couples were in it for life.

  i know that marriage is supposed to be until death do you part but we all know that things do occur.

  Hi Metatron,
  Thanks for your info. I always knew that there was stuff that has not been exposed about Bethel. Of course it is not our business as to the details but they can at least let it be known that life "as usual" does go on at Bethel. I was always led to believe that Bethel life was some sort of Eutopia.

  I am sure that Bethel can be enjoyable time in ones life and I am glad that you had such an great experience. Thnaks for the input.
