here it is guys.

this is what darth frosty was talking about in his post the other day (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/149460/1.ashx).

this is a collection of confidential letters from the watchtower society that were sent to the bodies of elders in the years 1981 through 2006. these are the letters that you were never meant to see or read.. there's all sorts of information in them ranging from the boring and mundian to instructions about how to handle child molesters.. many thanks to darth frosty and others (who i'm not sure can be named) who worked very hard and took risks to collect and scan the information.

JW Fundies write a "JW Child Abuse" page in Wikipedia

the wikipedia page entitled jehovah's witnesses and child sex abuse is oozing with lies and jw propaganda.

it presents the policies through the jw filter that ignores its pathetic inneficiency and reality.

the article's tone is that of "look how good we are compared with other religions.

Those judged repentant by a committee of elders are given "public reproof".

Well, no, we don't actually report them to the police.

Uhm, no, we advice the victim to not go to the police either.

Why? Well, it would be a bad mark on Jebubba's good name.

And the lawyers say we ain't gotta do it.

i made a post about this before, but felt the need to repost on a very important benefit i am part of.

it is called beards because.

basically a group of guys have been growing thier beard out for the local battered women's shelter.

Beards BeCAUSE is a fundraising event that involves a group of volunteer men growing beards for two months to raise funds and awareness for the Battered Women's Shelter of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The fundraising kicks-off November 3, 2007 at Dolce Vita and wraps up January 11, 2008.

Each participant will be responsible growing a beard, raising donations, and awareness for the cause. Over the next few months weekly beard progress photos will be posted on the site to see who has the grizzliest beard.

*Friends who want to donate checks for Beards BeCAUSE can write the check to United Family Services and putBeards BeCAUSE in the note line on the check so we'll know how much we have raised.*
