What do I look like?

Very blonde hair (almost white) that flows around your face, a yellowish tint to your face, not from jaundice. A long slender body that looks as if it could sway in the breeze.

Whether the scriptures eclipse and I and others posted here were cut and pasted or not, the fact remains, they are in the bible. You can not argue that god does not test us humans when it has been in print for thousands of years. That he indeed does test us, and not only that, but he does so to remind us that we are merely animals in his eyes and the "testing" is meant to remind us of our place in the universe.

Also, the lady I am "studying" with has already begun to form her own doubts about the sexual abuse issue. We have talked in depth about it. She is quite disturbed by the video on the JW site (the didn't know about long term effects of child abuse 18 to 20 years ago video). That video, and only that video, not my comments about the video, raised her hackles.
I asked her (it's in my first post about this, see page 1 of this thread for a link to the other thread) what if the elders don't want to call the society for answers, and she said, "Then I'll call them myself."
The only thing I have done is bring the information to her attention, information that is posted on the JW web site, printed in the WT & Awake magazines, news reports, and the WT official statement. I used logic to draw her down a path to reason. If bells were going to go off in her head, the only thing I have done is help her find the pull string to set those bells off. After she saw the video on the JW website, she researched, on her own, past WT & Awake magazines and came to the conclusion herself, that the WT Society indeed knew of the long term effects of sexual abuse because she was looking at the magazines they printed that many years ago and more. SHE DID THIS HERSELF. And she was very upset and confused about why the society posted that video.
She also said that the JW web site has other videos that contradict this video. She is seeing the duplicitous nature of the WT Society for herself. I have not once spoken negatively to her about the society. What I do is ask her questions that she can not answer with a canned WT answer.
I don't understand the negativity about this. Let me have this moment of happiness for her and for myself.

" well, there are some things the lord can't reveal to you in advance because you're not yet ready.
he's got to let you go through some testings without your even knowing what the future holds, to see if you can take it, to see how loyal you are, to see how strong you are, to see how faithful you are, to see if you will be willing to do whatever he asks!

It is scary. National Geographic did an article on it recently. The pictures in the magazine certainly show this is a real problem. I feel for the poor animals this is affecting.

How many Christmas yard ornaments is too many I ask? (New Pictures)
by erynw inthere is a house in my neighborhood that has to hold the record for christmas decorations in their yard.
the neighborhood i live in has one road in and out so we can't avoid this eyesore.. i swear, they have every inflatable, plastic, lit up, wire formed, animated yard decoration that has ever been manufactured.
it looks like k-mart threw up in their yard.. they have enough lights on the house, bushes, trees, eaves, roof, fence to signal the mothership into a safe landing from any galaxy in the universe.
