Anewme,
Your post was hilarious!!!.
We had the odd single brothers in their 40s who were only interested in virgin sisters who were 16-18 years of age.
And I remembers these brothers and running from them.
.
old timers on the board may remember that i was the first to mention the november 06 blood insert in the km.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/121104/1.ashx.
the same very, very reliable source has confirmed that the book study will be amalgamated with the tms and sm.. this same source recently had a long and private conversation with a gb member.

i guess that would include tongue kissing, touching etc....the things two people do when they dig each other.
heavy petting was a huge no no!.
i remember sitting in front of three elders as a teenager spilling my guts about how i kissed this boy.
I know plenty of other young girls and older women too who have been humiliated in this way.
Yeah, I got questioned a time or two but only because the brother felt guilty and went running to his elders. Although, his elders asked him more detailed questions than mine asked me. Personally, I didn't think it was anyone's business.
I know an older JW, widowed with grandchildren. She got a little frisky with another older JW and was taken before the elders. I thought that was a little crazy. As it turned out all they did was kiss but at her congo that was reserved for, at a minimum, engaged couples.

Does anyone know if this is a worldwide change? I don't know how many of you have lived abroad but I could see them combining the meetings for the convenience of folks in less developed countries. Imagine walking 2 hours each way for a one hour meeting!
But I do think they will put a spin on it such as creating extra night for evening witnessing...and we all know how many folks show up for that...LOL.
ggrruunnn...uunnngghhhh.......uurrrrr.......plop.............ahhhhhh........and there floats scholar in the bowl..........................oompa
GROSS!
Hi changeling!!!
It will probably be at the KH. Attendance is really low at the bookstudies right now.
there will be a huge announcement after the watchtower study on the 27 of april.. for what it's worth, this was just sent to me anonymously.. randy.

I always thought the area book studies was an important part of keeping in touch with the rank and file membership.
I could see them getting rid of group bookstudies and doing one congregational bookstudy. From what I remember, thats the least attended meeting. I went to one bookstudy group where 27 pubs were assigned and it was only about 5 to 7 people for the bookstudy. Every now and then we would get about 15 people. When I was at bookstudy held at a private home, we only got a lot folks on treat night.
just curious.
will share my experience later..
I've been to about 3 or 4 meetings (including the memorial) in the last year. It feels weird just walking into a KH now. But I'm going to go to a meeting today so I can hear the "new light" first hand.
i am a jehovahs witness.
my family are all witnesses.
i am convinced it is not the religion it once was.
...who else is doing something other than whine on this site?
Sometimes the best thing you can do is not do. Not preach their message, not go their meetings, etc.
our home galaxy contains up to 1 billion stars...our universe contains over 50 billion galaxies with billions of stars...why here would god take his stand...send his god son to deliver us...a big galaxy with a nondiscript star with a few planets and we are the center of gods attention...makes you wonder....sometimes...
You're not the only one that has thought about this. I think about it often.
To take it a point further, why did God choose the Jerusalem instead of China or some other country to be the start of christianity? Why did he only send one son? Why not send a least some sort of savior to each country? Or maybe he did?
Even a step further, out of the billions of folks on the earth, he chose a guy with a drinking problem to gather his followers. Then he decided he needed more so he chose 12 guys to run his earthly organization.
So out of the entire universe, God chose 12 white men and until recently a black guy to lead the charge gathering his followers. One would think that if God chose them out everyone in the universe and the billions of folks on earth that these men would be so holy that would be able to at least make a spoon levitate above the table or least, at the very least, get the generation and other doctrines right the first time.
I recently discussed this in a "have you ever wondered" conversation with an JW friend I hadn't seen in a while. She told me that she doesn't allow herself to think about things like this because she might find "holes" in the "truth". Then she continued to tell me the latest gossip of congo happenings and DF'ings.
sorry in advance to all of the ones on this forum now, who partook while jw.
i have to say that in my experience, having known personally several who were "of the annointed", most were absolutely dingy.
the only exception was the little ancient gal who had attended the early convention where all attendees were "annointed" en masse!
I've known several folks that claimed to be of the "anoited" and they were all nut jobs. Just plain crazy. One claimed that Jehovah communicated with her.
