yes, simon...hit me over the head.. but i can't help but wish she (prisca) would be back here.. i've spent time with her in-person; finally-free can attest to her sweetness.. on-line : well she's a formidable challenge sometimes; but a heart as big as herself.. i hope we'll allow her back here during the last days of this forum.. she has not asked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lltg3iwoqe8.
but i do recall this australian band's video from 1988/89 - which she remembered all-too-well.. missing prisca big time!.

i recently provided the letter that edwin thiele wrote to max hatton about ptolemy's canon.. this time i am providing a copy of the letter thiele wrote to edmond gruss on ptolemy's canon.. in this 1971 letter, thiele writes about a watchtower magazine article:.
"the canon is right and jehovah's witnesses are wrong.
what would i say about the (watchtower) article in general?
Good one Doug, Thanks from me too

if so, can i grab a copy of that booklet?
Thanks from me too
"some facts and more facts about the self-styled "pastor" charles t. russell (of millennial dawn fame)" was written by rev.
j. j. ross of hamilton, ontario, canada in 1913. this booklet is mentioned by several historians of the watchtower movement.
for example, this was walter martin's take on ross' story:.
WOW, Looking forward to that one too
i found this original letter in my families archives.
don't know why the second page is discolored but it's original.. it's interesting the mention of the toga on the second page, and that they called the magazine "the tower".
.
WOW, and thanks so much from me too

trust me, i haven't heard as good fm in other parts of south east asia as i did in the philippines.. i remember listening to this station from manila: dwnu-fm.

Boy I will have to go through my record collection to refresh my memory.
What about 'Cold chisel' (Jimmy Barnes), 'The Angels' (no way get ...... , .... off) 'Moving Pictures' (had the guy from 1927) 'Dear enemy ''The Models', Hey and don't forget 'Kylie'. And one of my favorites ' Sharon O'neill'. I'm sure I 've forgotten most of them. I used to see a lot of those bands back then. Those were the days
