the perfect church!
by arimatthewdavies inits sunday, oh joy we are off to church!
we leave dressed as we feel like, we grab our overdue bills!
and we are off, upon arriveing we enter the all you can eat buffet we pig out for an hour or so the waiteress comes to collect our dirty dishes, and our overdue bills in a few minutes she returns with the receipt, and a doggie bag full of cash.

My story
by Dumi inhi guys, i joined the forum 2 days ago & i thought i should formally introduce myself to all you fellow apostates and while at it regail you with my story which may be familiar to some/all of you.. i was born into a jw family.
my father converted from traditionalist (south africa) while my mother is a second generation jw.
surfice to say i grew up (together with my three siblings) in the same jw drill... meetings, field ministry and secular school and thats about it.

I would like to advise you to NOT deprive your little ones of the Holidays
First of all many of the things are pagan as been told above. But to cut
kids off Birthdays, Christmas etc is cruel to the kids. I brought MY kids up as JWS
Then was kicked out because not believing Christ came invisably in 1914
I was devastated!!!!!!wanted to kill myself. A daughter is still in bondage ,3
of my kids died, I have one that is out > she is GUS GUS on here none of her kids
believe in anything spiirituel Only because the WT was all wrong. But you should
see how they enjoy the holidays !!!!!They love them...It sounds like you have a
good hubby!!! stay close to him & your kids ,let your Mum & Dad lead their lives
but DONT disguss the religion with them at all. Tell her the kettle is boiling & get off
the phone...They taught me how to lie.....Gods blessing go with youMOUTHY

Congrates on you children. PLEASE dont teach them any of the WT drivel.I am really Mouthy on board but being an 83 year 0ld I sometimes screw up.
But then I got screwed ( by the WT)when I was in my 20 so I cant use that as an excuse.
I hope your wife is beginning to see the WT flaws also....I truly believe it is a worse
cult than Jonestown, Koresh,or any of the others.

Lady Lee (Lee Marsh) could use help
by Dogpatch inshe can't read this now because her computer has been broken for several days.
lee is not a complainer now would dare ask for help, but though she can even build computers, she has ancient equipment and if you know her, little funds.. bottom line: she needs a $500+ cpu box to get updated to the 21st century.
