Anyone any profound experience?

since leaving the borg a couple month back i have as some of you know seemed to get lower and lower.

my friends have slowly but surely drifted and we (my hubby and i) are treated very much like 'apostates' now and have been tried to be shoved out by them trying to get us to da ourselves.

and now i feel quite lost and am really struggling.. at first i continued to pray to god, believing he was listening and i could draw comfort from the inner peace i seemed to feel???

I can only tell you my experience .I wanted to kill myself when I was DF

but seeing a young boy walking towards me ( he would have seen me
jump under the bus) ....I am so happy I didnt.Because I went to a convention
of ExJw's & they suggested I might like to invite the REAL truth into my life
of course I thought they were nuts.... But figured what the heck!!! Try it
How was that to be done???? Just ask JESUS CHRIST to come into me,to
be MY LORD & Saviour,I did that & VOILA!!!!! I can honestly say I feel as
if I started from day one!!!Born Again.
So if you dont mind.....I will say
"Heavenly Father you know this persons heart. You tell us that is what
YOU examine,,,,HEARTS!!!! Please be with BEZ help her/him to KNOW you
as YOU KNOW her/him I ask this in the Name of JESUS,the NAME above ALL others AMEN"

No He was dying. He then told me I was an angel
Because I looked after him at home for over 1 yr.
I was beginning to doubt the WT because no one came to see
me..I was not able to get to the KH
But I used to pray with him,that we would walk together
in a Paradise earth

He did suffer ( lung cancer)
& I had told him for years he would die of lung cancer
he had smoked since he was 15...I had also smoked before
I was a JW two packs a day... So he was now beginning to think
I knew what I was talking about .
I called the elder to come ...He came & talked to him alone.
When he came out of our bedroom he said "Your husband wants to be buried by us
He was.

Did you ever do something for this religion that now makes you shudder ?

back in the early 80's right after i was married the main driving point i kept hearing at the meetings was "do more,,, pioneer ".. well being the young impressionable jw couple that we were, .

my wife is a speech therapist, so working pt was no problem, but i ended up working construction, cleaning carpets, and shoveling snow at all hours with the brothers, and i worked like a d*** fool at all hours.. funny how there was so much support for me to work with the witnesses, but once the decision was made work could be very iffy at times.. and the main thing that just causes me to cringe now is how so many of the witnesses in charge of the congregation thought that we did not need insurance, my wife had a policy with her school district, but my son and i did not.

granted medical expenses were not as bad then, but just the idea of thinking that we did not need it that god would watch over us just embarasses me to no end now.

1.Let my hubby beat me for nearly 41.yrs to stop preaching
But was told how wonderful it was to be Free,because other Brothers
were in Jail,& I was free to preach
2.made 10 people JW's
3.made 3 of my kids JW's(one is still in & a granddaughter)
4.I worked as a Buyers asst: at the Bay.I went to the Big Boss
& preached to her,told her I could get pioneers working for her
(as she wanted PT workers only)So she gave me my own office
hired 4 JWs ( they acted as if they were just one.collect one pay which they divided )
Part time & we preached in the lunch time( we were
obedient not during work hours.)
5.as my hubby was dying ,he wanted to become a JW,so called the elder
who preached after my hubby died how MY persecution paid off.
6. That elder gave the funeral talk...Saying how TRUTH!!!! paid off
They DF me to years after his death.When my hubby Didnt believe what I was
preaching to him he had told me many times " If I kick the bucket before you
woman,they will kick you out ,cos they dont look after widows.

Guess I married a prophet
