  Does this fact in it`s own right , prove the Garden Of Eden story false to be no more than a fable ?

  thinking about life in general reflecting on the abundance of life on this planet , it became obvious to me that every living thing , those flying in the heavens ,living on the earth , or existing in the oceans , is all possible for one reason , and one reason only.. every living thing exists at the expense of the death of some other living thing , life and death go hand in hand.. the same is true even in the microscopic world .. every living thing feeds off some other unfortunate living thing.that`s nature at its most basic observation , but true.. what the noachian flood story overlooks is the vast amount of living marine life that existed and flourished and not influenced or affected by what supposedly went on , on land.. 99.9 % of all living creatures if not 100% live by the death of some other living creature and the same would have to be true in the garden of eden if it was to have existed in the first place .. no thing can live if it does not devour some other living thing .

  a fact of life .. apologists are welcome to support god , by suggesting miraculous interventions by god that have no scriptual basis.

  i guess any nature video of the animal kingdom , marine life in the oceans , or videos of the bird life , as in nature series should make this clear .. smiddy.

  You're absolutely right Smiddy.

  An 'evolutionist' I knew that saw the 'light' & became a JW tried to argue that the food chain as it exists today was not god's original plan. He said god did not intend for creatures to kill each other & that they would only feed on animals that had died.

  I asked him how far down the food chain god hadn't intended creatures to prey on each other. I offered the example of baleen whales being specifically 'created' to prey on krill by filtering them through their baleen plates. I asked if he knew of a way for them to distinguish between live or dead krill.

  the final part of our discussion took us back to the very beginning where he was asking my christian friend a question about the trinity.

  i wasn't convinced that david received an answer that was satisfying [essentially its a mystery, god is too big to understand etc..] i wanted to talk about that more.

  i am seeing and hearing many, many long-time jws openly expressing problems with either the watchtower society itself, the publications, changing doctrine, incorrectly living their lives as a result of bad doctrine, the behavior of the boe and other related things.

  i will share some of these things in several posts, because there are just too many of them.

  the complaints that i hear from publishers and pioneers are many.

  Yes Sister Yuen.........what exactly did she accomplish by choosing to be loyal to the Watchtower Organisation rather than her husband & children?

  I asked this from the audience when she visited a local congregation during her 'Martyrdom for the Watchtower' tour of the Western World.

  It was not appreciated by the chairman sat on stage.

  Lovely lady, however she definitely made the wrong choice.

  Yes taking photographic evidence of you having a meal with your cousin in order to report you to the elders is quite disturbing.

  I have heard talks where the WT speaker is trying to drum up contributions by saying everything belongs to Jehovah anyway(=Watchtower).......all your belongings, all your money & it's only his loving kindness that allows us have them.

  So you work your socks off all week only for the borg to try & lay claim to your wages.

  The GB expect the dubbies to lose their lives for some God concocted principle he's so-called enlightened them with, yet with no sign of being hacked to pieces by some crazed JW hater, raped or having finger nails pulled out Geoffrey Jackson capitulated & claimed ' it would seem to be quite presumptuous to claim that we are the only spokesperson God is using'. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuWT4flyl-k

  those were the frustrated words of my friend as we stood out in his large yard in the country, just about to enjoy a nice bonfire on a beautiful night.

  what was it that could have been a lesser evil than killing himself?

  I read your entire post Mike, you took me right back to my 1960's childhood in the Watchtower Organisation..

  As a very sensitive child I also struggled to be the perfect JW kid, always feeling an innate terror that god was going kill me at Armageddon.

  Though I was not an academically gifted kid, my experiences mirrored many of yours.
