there is an implicit pact between the magician and the audience.. .
an audience attending a magic act is in attendance for two main reasons.. 1.entertainment.
2.the desire to match wits with a puzzle and its solution and the determined effort to be amazed when this fails.. yet, above all else, the audience does not really wish to discover the secret.
I usually just come on and read the posts that interest me and never login because i am a lazy guy. This is such a good post i decided to actually login and voice that thought.

omg i just heard this morning that they have a table set up at the local walmart, so i had to drive by.
it is huge with two huge signs one spanish and one english of blown up pictures of some of the book covers like you can live forever and young people ask, etc with a card table in the middle and two very boarded looking people just sitting there.
this morning was the spanish congo's turn but the walmart is in my halls territory so the english speaking ones from my hall will man it on the english speaking times i guess.
In my walmart one of the little semi-important guys is a jw who avoids me whenever possible--- i always point out to his fellow employees how he treats me and tell them that if he preaches to them to tell him they are afraid he might treat them like he does me
he considers me an evil apostate and i try to live up to his expectations of me hehehehehe
i'm mostly here to meet new like minded friends.
growing up in the religion has jaded my perspective.
most of my believes the wts is bs, but there is that part in the back of my mind that fears they have the truth.

as i sit here at work and reflect upon my life, i realize.
how different my life would be if my mom were not home.
when the jw's came a knockin and mom fell for their story.. 1. i would not be married to my wife.
When I became a jw i was well on my way down a path of self-destruction.
If I had not become one at the time I did I would now be either dead or in prison.
So becoming a witless turned my life around and I became a far, far better person.
I just wish I had not invested so many years chained to the witchtower.
I would probably be levitating and teleporting by now if I hadn't wasted so many years in the troof!

typically, i give at least 20% on my total bill.
if the service or the waitress is especially charming, maybe more.. i wonder, when you sit at a bar/restaurant and have a meal and drinks and then order a take out ( i do this for my mother quite often) are you supposed to tip on everything, including the takeout??.
when i stay in a hotel, i typically leave 2 or 3 dollars per day for the maid.
i was with a jerkhooba bro once and he asked the waitress if she was allowed to take tips---when she said yeah he said "plant your corn early" and walked off. so i turned around and left her more than i originally had--- boy was i embarassed for the what the jerkhobo said
