i'd bet my left.... pinky toe that the wt's monster 4/9 confidentiality letter was put out as a direct result of the jane doe/candace vs wt case as they were preparing to go to trial.

there had already been a year of legal proceedings - surely the wt knew the shit was about to hit the fan.. thanks goes to atlantis for posting the boe letters originally as pdfs.

the person that a restraining order is a personal legal matter that does not involve the congregation.. thereafter, the elders should call the legal department immediately for direction..

the plaintiff, candace conti's goal from the very beginning was to bring enough attention to this problem to incentivize watchtower to change its policy of secrecy.

the award can be explained as it was decided: separate compensatory and punitive damages.

the punitive award is established in law to punish wrongdoing - here, the conscious disregard for others - and deter that conduct in the future.

Instead of DOs bullying victims.....now they will bully known (possible suspected) pedos into submitting letters of disassociation before officially cleaning house..... that way they can claim 'holy spirit' removed the wicked and not Caesar
