This still being hinted at from the podium. Those couple who have foregone parenthood in my KH are hailed highly.

What JW women should be expecting to wear in the decades to come:
Please note the festive colors!
But colors alas cause men to be distracted from the words being said at the platform.....so then attire will be:

Well I see many in West Texas will not be permitted the "privilege" of visiting Beth-HELL. In my college KH practically all the men wore wranglers, dress shirts and boots. The women had that faithful denim skirt, Hell my PO's wife and 80% of the females in my KH have that skirt or similar. I see myself deciding to wear my denim skirt tomorrow night.........
What is next manadatory dress/skirt and long hair--instead of being mistaken for Mormons we will be mistook for Penecostals.
Anyone gonna guess who authorized and encouraged this brochure? Ted, Gene, anyone
When they start making me wear dress robes (beards too) like Jesus I will give up my pastel pantsuits. Until then hear O' WTS your own counsel:

w064/1p.17WhenExercisingAuthority,ImitatetheChrist***Authority—Use
andMisuseThe proper use of authority, of course, can be a force for good. It can provide suitable direction and can result in physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits. (Proverbs 1:5; Isaiah 48:17, 18) As the above-mentioned experiment showed, however, there is an ever-present danger of going beyond what is reasonable in the exercise of authority. The Bible points to this danger and says: "When anyone wicked bears rule, the people sigh."—Proverbs 29:2; Ecclesiastes 8:9.
Abusing one’s authority is harmful, even if it is done with a good motive.

I hate the Watchtower but I really still hate the Trinity Jesus is NOT God!
by Witness 007 insome bibles use the term "worship" when refering to jesus...at times people did fall down and bow to him........this doesn't show he was god!
the greek term; proskeyneo, means to prostrate oneself, to bow down and show honour.
now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..

To be begotten, implies being begat.
Why would God intentionally give us labels as that of Father and Son if he didn't intend for us to relate to them as they are in our own relationships.

Random Memorial Mainstreaming thought
Is it possible to allow all to partake and save face and authority?
Then it occured to me that yes, and quite simply too.
Ahh new
The covenant with Israel included all of Israel...which had kings and priests Thus the WTS could maintain their "priestly anointed class" title while allowing the peasants to partake. I predict we will see this within then next 20 years. After all the
organizationcorporation has already shown willingness to ditch Rutherford in order to survive. Imagine how overjoyed the masses of sheeple will be, thus proving that the end is near and the light is getting brighter. -

Breastfeeding not allowed.
by The Scotsman inshocker at the group last week..... i was at the group last week (1st in about 4 weeks) and the conductor (the p.o.
) takes a sister aside and tells her that she was not allowed to breastfeed her baby before or after the book study because "someone" found it awkward.. hmm, i wonder if it was him that found it awkward.. anyway the twist in the story is that the group meets at her house.
the sisters husband was far from happy but is to reserved to do anything about it.

Not in all KHs
I breastfed (and extended nursed) my children while seated at the meetings. Dare not one person said anything to me.
Besides if we are now to keep our younguns' at home until mandated by law to school (of course next year they will push for homeschooling only) then wouldn't breastfeeding be encouraged so you could save money (donating that 1500+ to the WTS) and there is no spilled formula in the book bag.
That said shameless plug: for those with children and having to express, adiri baby bottles are most like the breast and grow with the child. I used them a few times I had be away and totally loved them.

What was the "point of no return" for you?
by B_Deserter inwas there a point in leaving the organization where you did something that demonstrated that you had officially made your decision to leave?
for me, i think it's going to be when i vote in the general election this year.
it will be my first action in public against jw doctrine.

Legalism above all else.
The 'imperfect men' strategy can only be employed for so long and for so many circumstances, eventually intent has to be inferred.
When the baptism questions were changed, it was intentional
Keeping the Blood doctrine after Bulgaria is intentional
Gag Orders and filed motions to delay and supress are intentional
Joining the UN was intentional
Clamping down on its members is intentional, of course it is only employed when they have been found in a comprising position of their own making.
Funny I was raised originally to be a lawyer (and to be a benefit to Bethel if needed) yet that ultimately kept my eyes open and after waiting on Jehovah to correct these selfish and wicked deeds, now I 'wait on Jehovah" to send Jesus and Jesus to rebuke those who do not repent and turn around before his coming.
I prayed and prayed that I was posessed by a demon and to be restored to the organization if it was God's way, nothing happened but a revelation about the difference between religion and faith. The scales from my eyes have been removed permanently. Now while I feel a bit lost in the wilderness I know I am not alone nor forsaken.
