New RBC arrangements/directives

i joined awhile back and haven't posted much - just lurking like many others.

for the past year or so i have been trying my best to fade away sooner rather than later, but the wife and most of our family have decades of involvement in this mess and well, it's difficult.

little by little i have been sowing seeds of doubt and it does seem to be working somewhat.

I was told a KH in Montana had to be torn down and rebuilt because the RBC said it had mold. The state inspectors weren't even called in to check for mold. Once it was torn down it was discovered there was no mold but now a new hall had to be built. The bill 1900.00 per month for the next who knows how many years. The congregation couldn't afford it so they had to re-negotiate the payments down to 1000.00 per month even 1000.00 per month is outragious considering these people in this small town don't have a lot of money and they had a perfectly good KH to begin with.

To top it off, I heard that the flush valves they put into the new KH were faulty so guess what? Mold developed in the walls of the restrooms at the new hall and had to be replaced. I guess the Holy Spirit didn't give them quidance on this one.

The absolute truth is, truth does not change it is absolute.

My belief is that the borg looks at their thoughts and interpretations as truth when they sould view them as beliefs.

You can change belief you can't change truth.

What kinds of fading techniques have you used?

some of you may have seen my post in jedi masters topic but if you haven't i will re-post it here:.

i'm new to the site, my wife and i are are doing the fade we still have a son and daughter-in-law who are still in so we don't want to get hung.

i was an elder for 25 years and was removed because i didn't agree with the gb on an important issue and spoke privately and with trust to another elder who broke that trust and told the other elders and co about my disagreement.

It's a question, as far as I know there is not a specific answer in the scriptures.

for example "john doe", "bob smith", "group A", "group B" Etc. Etc. Etc.

Blood Fraction

ok i need help here, i want to know how i can justify taking blood fractions, from stored and collected blood?

how do i answer my relatives, the people who are the most wonderful people in the world even though they are roman catholic, they are not trying to persecute me, they love me, so i dont even want to go the persecution route.also where is the biblical support for fractions.

i feel it is selfish to take from bloodbanks, but not give in return, and on top of that hear badmouthing of bloodbanks.

If you feel ok donating blood so that all the borg members who take fractions will have a good supply, donate blood, no one has to know. It's not their business.

Everything that is in blood is allowed when fractionated. It's stupid

It's like telling someone they can't buy a stolen car but they can buy all the parts seperately.

The borg sometimes calls it "present truth" that way they can change the truth to match the present

But the truth is and always should be absolute!

So when the borg claims somthing is true and it changes, it wasn't really true.

e-mailing back and forth for days about the qb, and he only told me today that he had not even noticed anything new or different about this material until i had brought it up.

he says it would be "absurd" to think the fds mean all literature and web sites other than the wt ones are not to be used for anything, but that the context of the article needs to be taken into consideration.

that the context is key.

I too was the PO and a rebel. He may have scheduled this part for himself so he could tone it down and not make it sound so facist, I had done this in the past. Maybe he's not really a company man but a man who is confused but still commited to the society.

Question for Ex-Elders

i apologize in advance if seems like i have started to many new threads, but this site no pun intended has been awakining.

i could not ask for my life to be much better, but there is one problem that i have.

i know it is not healthy but it is my life, i have been smoking even before i left the org.

There are a lot of circumstances here, first your father is an elder so it depends on him whether he will say anything or not. If he does how he presents it to the body, What do the other elders think of him, do they highly respect him? How does the elder body view you? All these things have a bearing on what they will do. The bottom line is, they can df you. The other bottom line is it's not just your body and your health, it's your childs future life and health. You have the freedom to do what you want. Use that freedom to quit. PLEASE FOR YOUR CHILD! AND WIFE!

At first my wife and I were devistated but now we see it was the best thing that ever happened to us. We started to examine more extensively things that were not quite right with the borg and within a month realized what a snare and a racket the whole thing is. Since then we have faded. We still go on a Sunday every few months, (keeps em guessing) and we still love all the people and they love us in fact it's been a real confusion for the congregation because we were referred to as "gems", "pillars" etc.What we have found is that we are now able to do more with our extra time in truly giving people the help and comfort they need. One elder in the congregation who was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago said we have been the only one's who have visited them since his illness. I told him it was because everyone else is too busy with meetings and field service. I think it made him think. (him and his wife still go to meetings but that's not really visiting in my opinion it must not be in his opinion either or he wouldn't have observed what he did)

We love the opportunities and time we now have to give help and comfort to those in our congregation it may be like throwing fiery coals on the heads of those who may now hate us because we are no longer active. Ro 12:20. Not that we feel these people are our enemies but we may not be able to trust them at some point. So we now are able to show them what it's like to serve the God of comfort by giving the same comfort God give's us.

I look forward to being a part of this forum and sharing the experiences we have had and keeping the fine fight of the faith to preserve our Christian freedom.

I'm Still Receiving Teaching Assignments......That's Odd.

i'm currently a ministerial servant, and i haven't been to a congregation meeting in almost 4 months.

my father, who brings me my magazines and kms, has informed me that i have parts on the tms and service meeting coming up soon.

what's the deal with that?.

So my suggestion is, quit the school, let them remove you as a MS and take the time to give help and comfort to those in your congregation it will be like throwing fiery coals on their heads Ro 12:20. Not that we feel these people are our enemy but we may not be able to trust them at some point. Show them what it's like to serve the God of comfort by giving the same comfort God give's us.
