THAT'S ODD, In my time as an elder we hardley had any turnout for field service on holidays. Most dubs don't really want to talk to people at doors they just want to go out drive around keep not at home records and visit people they already called on who seemed interested. So why would they want to go door to door when they know people will be on the other side.

Doctrine or HIgh Mind Control as the Last Straw

reading the bible normally opened my eyes.
i was born-in and never suspected that they were skewing the bible in such a ridiculous manner or misquoting secular sources.

Mine was the blood doctrine. always questioned it in my own mind then questioned it with another elder then went on vacation then got back and was informed that the elder body wanted to talk to me then the CO came in and met with me and the rest of elder body then I was removed as an elder then started doing research on the internet then ordered Crisis of Conscience the started fading

Is this an anti-JW website?
by keyser soze inwhen i registered here over 4 years ago i thought it would be a good place to interact with like-minded christians who loved jehovah as much as i do.
but after reading some of the posts on here i'm beginning to believe that the sentiment on here is largely anti-witness.

Dan Sydlick was visiting our area one time and a brother in our hall (kiss ass kind of elder) asked Sydlick if he would work with him in field service. The kiss ass brother related to me later that Sydlick told him he was on vacation.

JW at work hitting on me!! (for real)
by Free!! inon another thread i mentioned i met some jws at work within the past 2 months.
well, 2 of them became particularly interested and getting to know me (a lady and a guy) the lady is really nice, and the only reason i know she is a jw is because she mentioned something about no b-days or christmas and that was it... she has not tried to preach to me or anything.... .
on the other hand... this young guy, well he is making sure he becomes my friend, asked me to be my fb friend and messages me everyday at work or on fb... now the funny thing is he told me he is a jw and about 3 times already he had suggested i read my bible (whenever i post status about being bored or unable to concentrate on homework), well yesterday he sent me a message that said "i would like to talk to you tonite, maybe we can hit it up" my reaction was .

In my book they have collapsed. They are nothing. There so called increase is actually a decrease per capita of the world population they are not the fastest growing religion nor are they even a religion recognized by the majority of the worlds population. Their narrow road is getting narrower and not many want to even walk on it

If I only had known ...
by Dudu insince i started having sex , i changed my doctor, this new one prescribed me control pills for extra safety ... well, it turns out i have my hormones unbalanced and thats why i had such a terribles, painfuls periods, i had to loose days at work, lots of pain killers and sometimes even er .... uuughhhh i went to so many doctors and nobody knew what was wrong, they just kept saying,, is normal to have pain during the period....
