Thanks to all who replied, I feel "better". I had a moment I guess. No, my family are not witnesses and I actually have a relationship with some of them now. Malinda, how do you access that Meetup group?

Hey to all! I haven't been on for a few months but I had a question. I feel like when I was baptized in 1999, I was pressured by my children's granmother to hurry up and do it for their sake. I was also addicted to pain killers. I was even taking them the day I was baptized. So, my question is...can my baptism be "ruled" invalid and therefore my DFing?

I always wondered what we would do after a few thousand years. The thought of never ending time is scary. Going on and on and on and on.....kinda freaks me out.

I am laughing hyterically at you guys!!! I can't remember the last time I felt cared for and accepted by someone(except my hubby). I wish I could relate my whole story but I don't think I can type that much. Thanks to Gopher for creating this thread and to nvrgnbk for the "flower bouquet", sweet. I can say this much, I feel scared when I read some of the stuff here. I feel like "what if the teachings are right and I will die soon for being an apostate". Isn't this what I was taught would happen? You know, being lead to the "Darkside", separated like cattle, the wide and narrow roads. I mean, what if I'm wrong? Is this just a "satanic ploy" because I have been thinking about going back? Maybe Jehovah just separated me to the "left". I swear, this crap keeps me up at night for hours! All the what if's. How does anyone know for sure, anything? I'm grateful for this place regardless. I feel like I may not be such a freak of nature when I read these threads. Thank you for caring so much, all of you.

My first week here ...thoughts
by emy the infidel ini have been hear for about a week now, and have not been is such a strange mental place since i was a witness.
it has been good, the programming still kicks in however, but i'm getting less and less afraid to reason with it.
i got my coc book yesterday.... i sat looking at it and thinking of all the years i avoided it, mischaracterized and marginalized it, w/out having any specific knowledge of what was actually in it.

Thank you to everyone who replied. I don't know any of you personally but for the first time in 3 years I feel someone understands and cares. I just talked to my husband about this. By the way, he is the "reason" for the DF'ing. He is a WONDERFUL man. He thinks the DF'ing process is cruel but other that that he is pretty objective. He does not like organized religion of ant kind (recovering catholic). I'm sure I will remain confused and scared(i will die at Armageddon)for a long time. Thank you again for making me feel cared about instead of dirty and unworthy. Do any of you believe in God at all and if so any other religion?

Hi everyone. I have been DF'd for about 2 1/2 years now. I lost everyone close to me. I am now very confused and lonely because I have no "worldy friends", my childrens g-ma is a very active witness and was like a mother to me, doesn't even speak to me anymore. My absolute best friend in the whole world I haven't seen in almost 3 years. I keep praying for help to go back because my life has been so crappy since I was DF'd. But my prayers are not answered. I have never been so confused about anything in my life. Please help.
