  Are we being watched by the Watchtower?

  i've heard a few posts on this forum suggesting the wt society has its own 'secret' team of people who lurk on this site for information purposes but also to identify individuals who have left the org and become 'apostate' and are actively working/campaigning against the wt society.

  can anybody here verify this?

  is this actually happening?

  My Dating horror= You can't have coffee at the mall without a chaperon???

  when dating a sister whom i later married, i read every publication on courtship the society had.

  i then spoke to an elder whom i thought was "resonable" and we agreed as the publications say: "a couple can meet together in a public place, when courting, without a chaperon.

  My mother was taught certain things during her youth, that she past on to me, which I did not believe in, and therefore, NEVER past those things on to my kids. I'm talking, masturbation, oral sex etc. etc.

  If they think not being chaparoned is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad, then they would have to resort to sleeping in the same bedroom with us, sit on the toilet seat while we shower and pay their portion of the utilities since they would be living under our roof.

  I never had a chaparone and never chaparoned. I was 18 and had my fiancé, 20, in my bedroom alone and we could have gone all the way, but we didn't, we knew what they expected of us. It is such a ridiculous requirement from these life controlling morons.

  Life is sweet

  got my truck back.. it was best-case, in the neighborhood of $2000, rather than the worst-case of $3000 or catastrophic-case $6000.. head gaskets.. bad, i know, but it could have been cracked heads, or worse.. i paid my peasly little two grand and that aposta-truck roared to life!

  it's gleaming smugly outside my garage right now.. life is sweet, i got my truck back.. helped my daughter build a 'model' for her piano technician classes, a board with hitch pins on one end, and tuning pins on the other, a bridge in between (with bridge pins) and a string.. basically a model of a set of three piano strings for one note in a simulation of the stuff that mounts it in a real piano.. i love woodworking, and i love making things.

  Aren't we the lucky ones. I understand your sympathy for the pioneer you saw walking down the street. They are so deprived of what life can really offer them. You're right too, we were always second guessing everything we did. There was always at least 1 who would disapprove of what we did so we therefore were constantly walking on eggs.

  Congratulations on all of your accomplishments and joys. Way to go.

  My life is sweet one one main reason alone "NOT BEING A JW ANYLONGER". That alone means, I can now enjoy my life to the fullest in every single thing I do. Life could never be sweeter, at least not on this earth. On the other side or in heaven or wherever we go that will be the ultimate life. Looking forward to that day, meaning, when my time comes, I'm looking forward to it with no fears, fears that JW's and some other churches have inflicted upon us.

  I believe in a Higher Source, call Him/Her God or whatever, but whatever He/She is doing, is beyond me.. I do know He/She has stood behind me in numerous cases. Even getting out of the Borg must have been in His/Her plan for me because I haven't been happier and as the saying goes, "All the Good comes from Him/Her".

  My relationship with my Ex?

  He's a creep. He still shuns me. I never knew if it was the JW's influence or if he is just mad at me for leaving him. But if he's doesn't want to consider himself a JW anylonger, why still shun me? Maybe it is the latter?

  His answers were very limited as you can read and never revealed anything in depth. That's typical him though, he's been that way for the 25 yrs. I was with him.

  Anyway, he can hate me, shun me, whatever...but I am not going to stoop to his level. Two wrongs don't make a right.
