Um... in America everyone (by everyone I mean American citizens 21 and over who isn't a convicted felon) is allowed to carry a gun on their hip. You can carry a holstered weapon and you don't even need a permit. That's the law pretty much everywhere except for those few nutty cities where handgun ownership is outlawed. And those cities that have outlawed gun ownership are in trouble now because those laws have been declared unconstitutional. By the way, if you happen to live in one of those cities where handgun ownership is illegal, you know just how bad the crime rates are.
If you do chose to carry a gun around in a holster, be prepared to be asked questions constantly by people who are ignorant of the law, and that includes law enforcement officials who are ignorant of the law.
What you can not do is carry a concealed weapon without a permit. The reason many people choose to get a consealed weapons permit isn't because they want to conceal their weapon, it's to avoid the unwanted attention that carrying a holstered weapon causes.
I carry a concealed weapon on occasion and nobody ever knows I have it. If you know I have it, then that means I'm about to use it on you. After 11 years of carrying a concealed weapon, I've never had to fire it outside of a gun range. And no, I have never contemplated shooting someone because they flipped me the bird in traffic or called me a name. It's to defend my life, not my pride or feelings. I don't want to use it, but if I have to I will.

elders who will not make shepherding calls to comfort their brothers and sisters but as soon as that brother or sister puts one little foot out of line those same f-----g (sorry about the language but it really angers me ) elders can not move fast enough to form a judicial committee and then are so unmerciful - it makes me want to vomit literally

the wbts basically says that if your child does not grow up a productive members of jehovah's witnesses, in spite of everything else they may be capable of achieving, you fail as a parent.
this bothers me.

My two brothers that are still Jehovah's Witnesses are both losers. Me and the other three aren't witnesses. Out of the four of us non-witnesses, only one is a loser. So... We've got every JW kid a loser, and 3 out of 4 non-JW kids non-losers. I wonder how my dad adds that up? Who's he more proud of? Who cares. Only a loser worries about stuff like that! LOL

My car. It was old. But, nicely restored. And fast. Apparently, I had the back end jacked up too far for the tastes of the local elders. I told them that if they didn't like my car they could buy me a new one. The end.

by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH ini just ask this...becauce last weekend i had a conversation with someone who could not understand why i would leave god, becauce of a person.
you know the whole "would you leave your wife becauce your boss fired you"!
but my take was based on an individual during that conversation, who really illustrates to me what a disfunctional experience being in the organization was.

Teacher sexually assulted me...........what do you think

i just had a horrible experience with an instructor of mine..........crossed the line............he grabbed my chest in school yesterday.. .
i have already let the head of the department know what happened and is 100% behind me on whatever i choose to do about it.. here is the thing................the instructor that grabbed me is a pastor in the catholic church............he recognized me from the net......from doing research on sex abuse in other religions.. anyone who knows who i am is very familiar with the fact i don't hide who i am at all.
