Dear friend to be DF'd this week ,advice please!
by wobble ina dear friend of mine is to be d'f'd this week,coz she re-married a non-jw.
she divorced her arrogant bullying (min serv and reg pio.
) husband a couple of years ago.. she moved from our congo's area at the time ,and i don't think she has associated with another congo.. she also lost her dear mum recently,the funeral is on monday.

I found if I play with the pigs in the pig pen, eventually I'm gonna get dirty. The only surprise for me is if Jehovah's Witnesses don't screw me over. And all the slime balls aren't elders.
I feel sorry for a kid who can't get away from the Witnesses, but I don't have much sympathy for a full grown adult who stays with the group by choice and then gets screwed over. Witnesses screw people over. It's their purpose in life. -

Well, the year text is written as a part of the Yearbook. The Yearbook needs to be written, checked, proofed, set, printed, bound, inventoried, ordered, and shipped to be at the distribution points (Kingdom Halls) before January of the new year. The yeartext banners are ordered, manufactured, and shipped to Kingdom Halls before January of the new year.
In 1973, the drummers at assemblies were drumming 1975, the Watch Tower writers were writing 1975, the Kingdom Ministries were campaigning for 1975. The end is near! "Stay alive till '75!"
Early in the year 1973 the Society started paving the low road out of the 1975 campaign, so when the (1975) prediction failed (because they KNEW it was going to fail), they had a string of warning messages to spin into.
When I saw the yeartext for 1974, I knew we had been had. -

by VM44 indoes anyone know if the gb members in brooklyn have bodyguards?.
if so, how many?
and....do they carry any protective devices or weapons?.

I know of a vending machine in Bismarck North Dakota that had two "candyguards". These were Witness thugs assigned to be sure no young fathers dared to buy any 3 year olds any Rainbow Lifesavers at the district assembly. That's sort of the same . . . right?

So I've been issued a challenge......
by Vachi 8 He Is inmy elder of an uncle came to visit recently and taking note of how crappy-go-f#@ky and bored of life i seemed starts in "why don't you want to go to the hall?
what changed?
" i give him the rundown of my disappointments in god, my issues with the bible, and how the religion is basically formed on the interpretations of russell and/or rutherford.
