Is there any chance to help her step by step?
Yes!
i am fading out after 18 years in jw cult (pioneer, ms, elder etc ...).
my wife was born in jw family, very strong family bonds, very loyal to jw.
at home we can talk pretty open, but she is so blindfolded, so loyal, not willing to admitt jw could be totally wrong... is there any chance to help her step by step?

i was talking with a friend and an interesting point came up: what if judge rutherford never became president of the wt?.
much of the heavy-handed, centralized, and authoritarian things we don't like about the wts is the rutherford presidency legacy.
if the wts stayed on the charles russell track, would we still be jws (or "bible students"?
What if Judge Rutherford never became president of the WT?
Just a wild guess . . . there wouldn't be a group called Jehovah's Witnesses and we wouldn't be posting here today.
much is being made of the recent downturn in property values throughout the us.
i have read media reports of overseas buyers snapping up property for very little money.
the most recent article i read was in reference to property in detroit.
Appraisers use three methods to value a property. One is comparable sales, two is replacement cost, and three is the income approach. I value my home a forth way. The value of my home is not how much someone else is willing to pay, that's third party driven. The value of my home is not how much it costs to replace, that's a property casualty insurance calculation. The value of my home is not how much money my home would rent for, that's a fantasy exercise.
The value of my home is not measured in money, but the value is measured in comfort and satisfaction.
Using the Bible, I can show "proof" of anything. Here's the recipe: Add a bushel of fiction to two pounds of gullibility, then add eight ounces of trust to a pound of faith, stir, then half bake in a hollow vessel (a true believer's head works well).
tonight i attended a rosary following the viewing.
it was held at the funeral home.
the rosary is a series of prayers led by a priest.
I've attended Catholic weddings and many Catholic funerals including a couple that were High Masses at the Cathedral in Sioux Falls. As far as religious services, Catholic is my favorite. I'm extremely appreciative of my Catholic friends.
the article written by the gb of the wbts demonstrates the lack of.
knowledge, wisdom, insight and understanding of the bible.. bob.
Scan?
i admire the jw's who seem to be not too affected by what the society teaches.
for instance; my brother became a jw when he met his wife, who was born into the wts.
his wife and her family, always seemed to be very gregarious people, and enjoy life very much.
In the 60's the United States west coast was the liberal wing of the Witness movement. Here in the midwest, the Witnesses didn't drink (they did smoke), they typically didn't dance to popular music, they were not easy to confuse with the worldlies. The typical midwest Witness was so tense you couldn't have pulled a pin out of their ass with a bulldozer.
That made them a little un-fun to be around.
i have asked this question before and i was told by jw's that it is "inappropriate, apostate, beyond our thinking, stupid", etc, etc,.... can anyone atleast give half an answer to this question?.

The name Jehovah is an error written by an ignorant Monk. The invisible god of the Jews was invented by the Jews as they record in their history. The evolution of the concept of mono-theism is hidden in (of all places) the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) for those who dare to read it.
i think that i have seen the words "elders are positions of trust" before, something like that.
if you can find wt article containing similar words like that, i would like to see it again.
thanks!.
Not an elder quote, but reflective on the concept of "Spirit Directed Organization" . . .
"Jehovah sent good spirits, or righteous angels, to communicate with some humans before the Bible was completed. Since its completion, God's Word has provided the guidance humans need to serve Jehovah acceptably. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Hebrews 1:1, 2) He does not bypass his holy Word by giving messages to mediums. All such present-day messages from the spirit world come from wicked spirits." (Knowledge chap. 12 p. 112)

Elders meet Scriptural requirements before being 'appointed by holy spirit.' Knowing this will strengthen your confidence in them. What you discuss with an elder will remain strictly confidential. Being trustworthy is one of his qualifications. (The Watchtower, March 1, 1997, p. 28)
"Note: Reports have been received where elders have revealed confidential matters to their wives or others in the congregation." (Pay Attention 1977 p.65)
"Sadly, in recent times it has been necessary to disfellowship tens of thousands of unrepentant wrongdoers each year. Prominent elders have been included among them." (Proclaimers, WTBTS 1993, p. 187)
