in my hall it is pretty ethnic what i mean is haitian/black/african,. the sisters who were my age like 17-25. were submissive in a way (poineer,and give talks but all of us persused higher education). but allways did things so people won't notice or make them look conspicious but the matter of fact was that everyone notice i.e. hair clothing accessories, the way you talked to all the brothers and sister in the congo etc. Starting about 3 years until this point their has been about 5 disfellowships and 1 reproof (two were male). it was kind of sad because most of them were sex related and that is zero tolerance. In our hall the young sisters are like the prize posession in the hall and we are also looked at as example to those who are comming in the truth. long story short SUBMISSIVE SISTERS BY DAY JEZEBELS BY NIGHT!!!!!!

by minimus inin my experiences, i saw many women that really took a back seat to anything a "brother" had to say.
i was always amazed as to how some sisters were sooooooooooooo submissive!
they really stood out from the "jezebel" types.. if you were a "sister", how were you treated and how did you respond?.

Did you get a little pressured to get baptized young?
by outofthebox inwe saw an elder the other night trying to convince a couple of kids that they were ready to be unbaptized publishers.
and then he went and added that he was baptized very young and they should too.
so, these two kids were feeling the pressure.

I've always felt the pressure to get baptise by guilt in our hall we had the brothers and PO give talks about it and said that u are blood guilty, wont inherit gods kingdom and the list goes on and on if u don't get baptise it seems like ever little step i make someone in the hall wants me to go forward and pioneer or missonary. but now people have knd of backed off of me which feels great!!!!!

Reasons why someone might get reproved
by XOCO ini'm new here and i have this friend that have recently moved here and not even a month that he has been here at the kingdom hall that i attend one of the elders made the announcement that brother xxxxx has been reproved.. i was just comming up with the reasons why he might of gotten reproved any stories, suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated?

I woukld just like to say thank you to everyone who have given their input and or expeeriences on the subject. I know i have not fully introduce myself so i'm gonna do it now.
I'm a Haitian-American 19 year old female. I live in Florida and i and been a jehovahs witness for the past 14-15 years of mylife. My mom was introduce to the truth. as a young child i use to celerbrate holidays and stuff. My father is a non-beliver and he "never will be a JW!" his exact words. I never got in trouble, but i use to run up to the elders for advice and things. I am also an unbaptise publisher, why i did not get baptise yet i'm not so much in a hurry also i haven't even prayed about it but thought about it. ----XOCO
