Life is passed on from previously existing life. Life can not be created but can be destroyed. This rule has never been broken. Life was not created as the Jehovah's witnesses believe. Life has always existed, Science teaches that life had a beginning, well, that too aren't correct. Once science gets a good universal definition of what life is, then they may be able to come to the conclusion that life had no beginning. Random thoughts. -

Elder's Meeting about ARC? No. Really?
by punkofnice inas you may or may not know (or care), i live in the uk.
a jw spy of mine told me that an elder had metioned that attendance at the kingdom hells had seemed to have dropped off after the australian royal comission expose of paedophilia within the watchtower organisation.. the elders were said to have had this as an item or the subject of a local elder's meeting.. i was surprised they'd even heard of the arc over here but at the same time was delighted.
delighted that meeting attendance had dropped possibly....and i say possibly...as a result of the arc.. even an older dyed in the wool jw i know is getting sick of the gb worship within the organisation and had heard of the arc.. has anyone heard similar?.

"If the bible is true how did kangaroos get to Australia."
1) The phrase "whole or entire earth" may also mean a "whole or entire piece of land." When the bible speaks of the entire earth being covered by water it may mean all the land around where Noah resided being completely covered.
2) There appears to have been a Land strip of communication between Mainland Asia and Australia. LOL.

The Org is terrified of apostates
by SecretSlaveClass ini knew apostasy was a serious concern for the org, but until i watched this video, i had no idea how afraid they actually were.
all this guy wants is to do is not turn in his fs hours and immediately they (elders) set about drilling him about who are what influenced his decision, as if he was incapable of making his own (which as the elders confirm, in the org is highly discouraged).
they are convinced he has been communicating with apostates or visiting apostate web sites.

I am encouraged by Sail Away to take steps to officially distance myself from the tenets of the jws. I can no longer bear the thought of my being associated with their policies.
I too will give them a letter this week to dissociate, while circumventing their shunning cruelty.
I will simply write:
Dear Sirs,
In line with my bible trained conscience, I will be re-baptized. The moment I will be immersed in water, my first baptism will be voided. When I come out of the water, the second baptism will become my true baptism recognized by all humans, Our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy spirit. I will not provide you the particulars as to the exact reasons for my re-baptism. I however desire that you legally be aware of this formal communication.
Yours sincerely,
Signed.
[ Name]
I will be baptized into Lord Jesus Christ by a non-witness and my baptism will not be tied to any denomination. I will not inform them of who will baptize me and where. Jehovah's witnesses publicly baptized me into their organization (so called spirit directed organization) rather than just being baptized in the name of the Holy spirit as Matthew 28 requires. That is one of the key justifications before God that I have for re-baptism. I desire to be baptized in recognition of Holy spirit not a human organization.

Jackson on Deuteronomy 22 and "two witnesses"
by Marvin Shilmer inin his testimony before the royal commission geoffrey jackson said he did not have the answer to the question posed to him regarding deuteronomy 22:25-27 and was unable to ask jesus at this time.
two things stand out to me about this piece of jackson's testimony.
1. he said he could not ask jesus.

"The text does not say a man would be put to death based on the witness of a single person (the victim)."
It does in principle state that even when there is one witness, a man can be put to death. The basis for putting the man to death is not mentioned. This is what Mr. Angus wanted Mr. Jackson to explore as it seems to deviate from the position that an allegation can only be acted upon when there are two witnesses. In that situation, the man can confess. Then there would be the two witnesses required for executing him. Mr. Jackson would have said that to get out of the noose.
