Jehovah's Witness here.
by nimzo ini have a question about my religion.
when people turn apostate, why do they seem kinda... weird.
they turn back to false teachings and their bible knowledge even proves that.

AuldSoul I have a problem with people proclaiming to be a Christian when they don't (a)Follow in Jesus foots steps (b)Make Jehovah known (c)do not do the will of the Father. I'm going to give you a sort response on this one because I'm getting tired. Knowing these people were lead by God and baptize with holy spirit, God could view their hearts and decide who is worthy enough to gain salvation. Also, this is something Jesus did too when he told the officer that he will be with him in paradise.. We cannot make these decisions today because God doesn't speak to us like he spoke to the prophets of old.. We have to make sure they are ready they are ready in their repentance and and so forth. If you believe people should get baptized right away, then you are wrong, because to be baptized, you have to CHANGE your life and repent.. and this is something that cannot be done by within days. So yeah, im done talking with you because this is something you should have known.

fifi40 I showed you facts already that it did. You guys still can't give me a good answer to why the Tetragrammaton was not used in the NT when they obviously quoted the OT. Seems pretty obvious that the divine name was removed.

AuldSoul Show me in the Bible where its disrespectful to use the Fathers name. You're also using bad examples because our Heavenly Father tells us to call him by HIS NAME, and not by a TITLE. If I tell you to give glory to my name, will you call me Boy rather than my actual name? No. Whats disrespectful is that Father tells us to use his name, when MEN tell us not to. Why did the New World Translation restore gods personal name in the New Testament? Easy. When a the title lord (or "Lord God" in Rev 1:8), then it would be obvious to restore Gods personal name there. I also didn't dodge your previous question, you just didn't like my response. Just the way you respond shows your lack of bible knowledge and the lack of understanding of the scriptures. Jesus taught of HOW TO PRAY, and he told us to PRAY TO THE FATHER. Show me one scripture where Jesus state us to pray to him? Matthew 6:9-13 GOD'S WORD Translation "This is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, let your name be kept holy. 'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.'Give us this day our daily bread.'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.' We follow Jesus, and we pray through him. We pray about Jesus and how he leads us to him, which is the Father.. You cannot find one scripture that says were suppose to pray to Jesus.

fifi40 Was not necessary to use it? Gods personal name? How can this be so if where suppose to treat Gods name as sacred John 12:28 "Father, glorify Your NAME. Jesus said "NAME" Is the mistranslated "I Am" a name? No. Is Lord/LORD a name? No. Your opinions are wrong, and they do not go long with the bibles teachings.

Junction-Guy Thats a wrong opinion, because the Tetragrammaton was used by trinitarian church fathers. Come up with another "idea" please.
