Happy Nurses Week to all of you. I just completed Anatomy & Physiology 2 with an "A" and will hopefully get accepted to the RN program at the college I'm attending. I take the TEAS test this Friday so wish me luck everyone!

Was there ever an occasion were one of the bethel boys just couldn't take it anymore and walked out? Could you even have walked out or would you be herded back to your seat? i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses(well mentally that is)---however i am a christian...i recently started reading different translations from www.biblegateway.com...jesus is so different to how the jw's teach....and god...i mean, i still am learning and confused about certain things but i am in love with them.... it's obvious that the jw's are not an organization of god.i don't think god is working through an organization but through individuals...however i am going to speak to an elder tomorrow about my issues---all of them---and i'm going to tell him everything--what i've been reading,where i got it from---everything!!

i'm not hiding anything!

i have done no wrong....i just want to be a true christian and if they disfellowship me for seeking answers then this is not where i need to be.

i hope this thread goes somewhere, and i hope i put it in an acceptable category:.

the wts has spent around 130 years in underhanded practices and cult control.

we can all name at least two practices banned by the un as inhumane.. because of the control of information they have within their ranks and their often litigious nature outside of the "compound" walls, every bit of information on here is crucial in ensuring no one who visits jwn falls for the gimmicks and traps the society works to employ.. there are personal experiences that are troublesome and touching through the experience of freedom after years of endurement.

I've read that book and not just the parts quoted in the WT. It contains much ignorance, superstition, gore beyond belief and the stuff of nightmares. Why anyone would use it as a guide to life is beyond me.
