It's soooo hot!
by talesin init's 27 degrees celsius today = about 35 in my flat, which is about 95 degf for the americans.. .
my friends in tx say it's been over 100 degf for about 2 months ... i don't have ac, but a fan on me .... .
how do you deal with the heat?.

No. Christians are those who deify Christ. By that definition JW's are Jehovists.
They don't worship Christ so they're not Christians. How hard is that to understand?

How did you fill the void after leaving?
by gutted ini'm curious about how people filled the void after leaving the jws.
i'm at a point, a bit over a year after leaving, where i am finding i have confronted the reality of my life and situation... and it's depressing.
i realize i have holes in my life (a significant other, social activities, something higher/beyond myself) which many worldly people naturally have filled but it feels unnatural for me, almost synthetic and it makes me more depressed the more i think about it.

How did I fill the void after leaving? That's an easy answer: I filled the void "by" leaving. The WT is like a black hole that nothing can escape from, not even light. When you toss away that black hole, then the "void" is no more.

Do they still play the piano during songs at the KH?
by andys ini was just now thinking of this do they still play the piano at the kh or is that part out of there all together also, i have been learning that when you look at a word in the bible many words translated over to hebrew have a deeper meaning for example the word praise a person can just glance at the word and think praise, but there are many hebrew meanings behind the word praise and one of the meanings:.
zamar-to touch the strings or parts of a musical instrument i.e.
play upon it, to make music accompanied by the voice, to celebrate in song and music, give praise, sing forth praises, psalms.

Crapola played the piano at my childhood KH up until a few years ago, as a matter of fact the piano she played is sitting in her living room as I write this down. She's trying to sell it to get a smaller one if anyone's interested.
