A step in the right direction: Denmark banning circumcision as a cruel, barbaric and archaic ritual not fit for modern civilised lands
by Gilbeath Haaraloth inas you may know, this makes me very happy.
ban on religious circumcision.
relate to a ban in all probability will not stop the millennium old core tradition in many parts of islam and especially judaism.

They are so saying that my parents were ignorant and barbaric for following in Abraham's footsteps, and I have every right to call it anti-Semitic bigotry because that is how I see it. If the Danes pass that law they are racist. Their naming laws are already definitely racist. It's all for the children. For the children is the most bullshit logical fallacy out there. Emotional bullshit appeals for stupid ethnocentric little Europeans. -

Love Uni Hate Exams I'm calling it like I see it. I'm circumcised and I don't feel like less of a man for being circumcised. Any campaign against circumcision is a campaign that says that I am less of a man than an uncircumcised man, and I resent that. -

Would/Do you wear a Cross around your neck ??
by Prisca inafter all that we had drummed into us about not the cross, and particularly about not venerating the symbol itself, i have been wondering about this issue.. so, what are your views about wearing a cross around your neck ?
is it just a fashion accessory, or does it mean something to you ?.
inquiring minds would like to know

I used to wear an Ethiopian cross, but if I were to start wearing it, it would just disappear under mysterious circumstances. Maybe I should get a cross and necklace tattoo so my wife can't make it disappear, but with my epic beard, curly handlebar mustache and long hair it might be the last straw with her. -

That cult has the potential to become something really big because of the cult's sheer territorial area in an age of global warming. They are literally repeating the history of the Mormons in the Brigham Young stage. -

The bible teaches that money is the answer for everything!
by EndofMysteries incontrary to what the wt teaches, they ignore the wise words of ecc 10:19 "ecc 10:19 "a feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.

Now Jews and Muslims can rediscover good old fashioned Eurocentric Anti-Semitism by being equally discriminated against, soon it will be Halal/Kosher is cruel, bla, bla, bla. Frickin' White People! -

Why is the Bible silent about the real Israel/Egyptian connections?
by fulltimestudent inthe bible does connect egypt and israel (including judah), but does not tell the truth about the connection.. an exhibition at the israel museum tells a clearer story.. it tells of two periods of connection;.
the first connection around 1800 to 1550 bce when canaanites settled in the eastern section of the nile river delta.
it seems this is the era that saw the development of stories like the joseph story and the mose's story.

Because the Bible was edited, and a lot of the more fantastic gospels and other books are in Coptic and Ethiopic. There was the scientific and linguistic argument against these books, but if the Canonical books were held to that same rigorous standard today, Genesis and Revelation would be out. -

How hot are the Muslimas and the Jewesses in your neck of the woods should be the barometer for whether you circumcise your son or not. The anti argument has merit, but marriage and relationship prospects matter depending on where you live and your family background. There are an awful lot of wealthy and gorgeous Muslimas and Jewesses here in California, and I worry about the pain a young man might have to face if he pursues one with an eye on marriage. Young women have the money more than young men nowadays.
