The further generally Northwest you go in Europe, the more pagan the traditions become. I personally believe in humbly and respectfully giving Yuletide back to the Norse Neopagans, and replacing the Christmas tree with handpainted Nativity triptychs and moving it all to January 6, that way I have an excuse for belated Christmas gifts.

San Fan, and LA make hotels take homeless and give them free Marijuana and Methadone and food.
by phoenixrising inso the liberals in all their intelligence or lack of it, have put the homeless up in hotels and are set to force hotels to take them in while giving them free drugs and food.
all they are doing is reinforcing bad behavior.
liberals destroy and conservatives have to clean up the mess.

Does this mean that Commiefornia is free to secede and keep all it's tech money and Hollywood money in California instead of going to Senatoral pork barrel foreign aid to States that hate us cause they ain't us?

I hope they don't cause psychosis like that antimalarial mephloquine.
That stuff might as well be angel dust.

Generally Speaking Do You Trust Your Government?
by minimus inas a us citizen, i am usually a bit skeptical of what comes out of the mouths of government officials.
often they may speak the truth but i’m not convinced of whatever they are saying as being 100% true.
do you believe your government implicitly?

I trust the Federal Government less than my State and Local Government, because State and Local Governments have Ballot Initiatives as a safeguard.
I'm grateful to live in a country where we have the right to mock and badmouth the President or any other elected official.

There will be a sliver lining to the virus
by JimmyYoung inso for years the usa has been relying on cheap labor in china.
supply lines were never interrupted.
china has gotten away with murder in its sending anything it wants with little checking of its goods.

The silver lining. Where do I start.
We do need borders, but deporting people who have been here for 20 years is a waste of resources that breaks up families and upsets struggling farms and businesses. It has a net effect of shrinking the economy, wasting tax dollars. And doing it now will only further spread disease internationally. Whoever is here should stay, build an electronic wall rather a physical one. Too many planes have been screwing up the ozone layer flying, transporting entitled, degenerate tourists who get drunk and puke everywhere.
No preacher wants to preach that the coronavirus is God's judgment on man for overconsumption and individual overambition with no regard for the planet. It doesn't inspire people to follow or donate, because it makes them sound as annoying as a smug environmental studies professor. It is the polar opposite of the Prosperity Gospel of Televangelists. But humanity deserves to be collectively humbled for how we have been treating each other and the planet.
People should be staying at home more, spending time with family, making homemade food and fixing things from DIY videos on youtube rather than buying a new junky one from China. This coronavirus is a time-out, putting the important things in perspective. That is the silver lining.

Amen Bruvver Smiddy, no Sister Dinah or any of the Mary's in the meeting. Just clean shaven old men, just like in the Bible. (sarc.)

If you want to catch up on things in the world that you missed out on...
by HiddenPimo ini highly recommend the https://unculturedcast.com/.
they have an episode coming up on demon stories that gets into the psychology of the situation and explains so much we faced or face as pomo.
also i recommend listening to the episodes on the matrix as the parallels to jw life are amazingly similar..

For some reason Nobody's Looking on Netflix reminds me of the JW Organization.

I'm just old and unhealthy enough for it to be a crapshoot if I catch it, but if Old People living in temperate climates where coronavirus thrives don't care about climate change and the fate young climate refugee families why should Young People care about coronavirus?
Everybody is selfish, just about different things.

Iowa Democratic Caucus - Just WOW
by Simon inthere was a babylon bee or onion spoof article a few weeks back claiming the democrats would lose their own caucus and ... well, they managed to do it for real.. apparently they can't count their own votes, their app and process is now steeped in corruption (created by a company called 'shadow' that has taken money from multiple candidates as well as the dnc and has links to clinton) and multiple candidates have declared themselves the winner.
biden has apparently done so badly that he's going to court to block the results being announced.
no estimate of when they will be released even.. how do they come up with this ... and what does it mean for the election results where they oversee the counts?.

The Democrats love to call Republicans racist, but when they get two great populist candidates who are People of Color, Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard, who actually don't play identity politics, they talk about them not being electable. It makes them as pathetic, hypocritical, and revolting as the Trump Cult that the Republicans have become.
I've cynically registered as Republican to vote for Bill Weld in the Primary, so no one can say I didn't take a stand against Trump. I did it holding my nose! Then I'll probably do a write in for Vermin Supreme or something, because the electoral college have disenfranchised voters like me. Either all of California or all of Texas is feeling cheated no matter who wins, so I say let both California and Texas secede and leave an America, that will be smaller, poorer, monolingual, politically moderate, and boring.
