soooo...i have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and am scared out of my mind.

in a weak moment, i called my parents and my mom answered.

i start crying as i tell her about my disease, and this woman says to me:.

Heartbreakingly cruel, but look on the bright side. Such an inhumane and cold response is PROOF POSITIVE they are nothing but a nasty, mean, sick little cult that doesn't even understand Christianity 101. They have completely missed the whole point of Jesus' message and are, frankly, just a shitty little brainwashed cult full of judgmental and unloving a'holes.

Priceless. Love how the Watchtower's own pathetic and utterly cultish reply that completely failed to provide the scriptural answers this couple sought on this absolutely ludicrous 'new light' teaching, was the final 'nail in the coffin' that mentally liberated these intelligent people and allowed them to walk away for good.

Along with the new Return to Jehovah brochure, this is a very interesting development that shows the WBTS has become increasingly concerned with recent surges in the number of inactive ones.

As increasing numbers of JWs have become disaffected and disillusioned and thus withdrawn financial support through donations, increasing numbers are now no longer supporting field service.

This letter means the WBTS is starting to panic.

i don't know if they're making similar arrangements in other parts of the world but below you will find the letter (and the translation attempt) they're sending to all the congregations in mexico and central america asking them to modify their september 21 and september 28 service meeting programs.. after watching jackson's gold apple watch and lett's pinky ring one can only assume they are a bunch of brazen, shameless and greedy bastards!.

There's no scriptural basis for such terminology. Checking the Concordance, the word Guardian and Guardianship do not appear in the NT.

It is an interesting description in that it shows they perhaps see their role as primarily protecting JW core doctrine from corruption.

This perfectly sums up how repulsive and unchristian their total shunning policy is.

The technically correct JW response from that bethelite would have been "yes, that's fine provided you don't speak to them."

But such a scenario would be farcical, absurd. Imagine handing written material out inviting a disfellowshipped person to return to the organization but not even saying a brief word of normal human courtesy or greeting.
