The JW only Watchtowers and Kingdom Ministerys will no longer be printed. You'll have to view them on your tablet/notebook at the meeting, or print them off yourself to bring. -

A word of advice clining to their persecutors ...
by SecretSlaveClass inlet me start off by saying i do not presume to have the answers, i am merely offering advice.. i will preface this posting with this, cutting a long story short:.
my sister was raped by a popular jw lad wh's dad happen to be a rock star elder.
in the attempt to fight him off his face was covered with scratches and it was reported to the police ( instead of rape he was sentenced on the lesser charges of sexual battery and assault) but he confessed to having violent, consentual sex.

Meditation answered my vital questions!
by iconoclastic insome time back, i was listening to sara lazar, a neuroscientist at massachusetts general hospital and harvard medical school, one of the first scientists to take the anecdotal claims about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness and test them in brain scans..
that day i thought i should test meditation myself.
though i reaped many benefits (physiological and mental) over a period, what i want to share with you is the spiritual benefit i got.

I don't want the Watchtower's version of paradise.
by StarTrekAngel ini am writing this in the hopes that it may help someone in a debate.
i personally have not had a chance to discuss it with anyone but that is true for most other topics.
i think is a good one to analyze.

Idiotic thread.
"Can't think of what to hate about JWs today, so I'll say that life forever in a paradise on earth would suck."
What next..say you'd hate to win the national lottery?

List the lies from the Royal Commision
by Crazyguy ini was not able to watch all the video's and i'm sure many others we not able as well.
many have stated that the elders and the gb member lied.
i thought it's would be a good idea to list the lies and which video and at what minute mark, that way all could see and reference for themselves.

Jehovah’s Witnesses face child sexual-abuse investigation in Australia - Washington Post article
by defender of truth inof the religious and nonreligious groups being investigated, the jehovahs witnesses are exceptional, experts say.. in a converted office in downtown sydney, the organizations doctrines and practices are being parsed by lawyers, victims and journalists, providing rare insight into one of the christian worlds most conservative churches.. .
the church, which was founded in pennsylvania during the 1870s to promote a 1st-century interpretation of the bible, has emerged as the least able or willing to deal with sexual abuse within its ranks, said anne cossins, an associate law professor at the university of new south wales and an expert in sex crimes who is a consultant for the inquiry.. .
i find their approach to the issue and victims extraordinarily bizarre almost medieval, she said in an interview.. .

The rotten fruitage of this sick, nasty little sect is being exposed for all to see. Mother organisations skirts are being lifted to reveal filthy undergarments. A whitewashed grave.
This is the death knell in the western world for JW growth, particularly when the Commissions report comes out in 2017.

Geoffrey Jackson: "That would be presumptuous of us"...
by Calebs Airplane inwithin the first few minutes, mr. stewart asked geoffrey jackson if the members of the governing body consider themselves to be god's spokesperson on earth.. his response: "that would be presumptuous of us" (implying that they don't consider themselves to be god's sole channel of communication).. to me, that was the worst lie of about 26 lies he's told during this hearing.
however, mr. stewart missed an opportunity to call out mr. jackson on this bold-faced lie.
he should have asked him to explain why the watchtower magazine teaches otherwise.

Deuteronomy 18:22 is officially fulfilled! Read it.
The GB/Watchtower Society/John Class that has self admittedly been prophesying in Jehovah's name officially claims to be the sole channel between heaven and earth and GJ has just admitted they are a presumptuous prophet!!

Anthropomorphism in the Scriptures
by iconoclastic insince all our conceptualisations are limited by our human condition, our images of god are often anthropomorphic; hence bible writers presented god as:.
1) working six days and taking rest on the seventh day [which is not required for one who is omnipotent].
2) grand-father whose eyes are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good (proverbs 15:3) [which is redundant as law of cause and consequence are already in place and does a wonderful job].

Interesting, although your point is unclear. It goes without saying that the story that 'God' intervened to thwart the construction of the Tower of Babel by creating multiple languages is mostly just so much silly Jewish fable.
Nonetheless, the ideal epitomised by the Tower of Babel of a globally united human family all working together for some common goal speaking the same language is the hidden Masonic agenda. To bring about a new world order of the ages through a one world government (a good thing.)
Unfinished Tower of Babel = uncapped pyramid on the US dollar bill.

Can You Really Become Inactive Instead of DA'ing and Keep Your Family
by truth-or-consequences inoz branch coordinator terrence o'brien opined a number of times at about 1:00:00 until about 1:15:00 of his testimony, that a dub does not need to da, they can become "inactive.".
i sent our beloved angus stewart my personal experience, as well as observations about official borg teachings.
(he replied in short order.).

Yeah of course it's possible, if you're prepared to tell a few white lies, tickle their ears a bit (ie, play them at their own game).
All that's required is to tell the nosey nutjob prying JW mullah spiritual policeman (aka elders) that you love Jehovah and want to serve him to your best ability, but that lately you're suffering from some depression, discouragement and ennui but praying hard, reading your Bible and publications daily, and will be making a big come-back very soon.
Then when they leave, secretly give them the big finger as they walk away and get back to being a normal human being instead of a brainwashed religious weirdo.
