  let me get this straight, the vatican addmitted the one thing that would cause their downfall? no way, thats like the watchtower addmitting 1914 is bullshit. need a primary source for this one. anyone can submit at free press release.com.

  yesterday afternoon, right before i was about to take my wife to the kingdom hall (no, i'm not attending, haven't been in 9 months, strangely enough am still thinking of returning if it would help my marriage, but it won't), i happened to notice her opened october 15th, 2010 watchtower.

  around page 25 or so, there was an article that caught my eye.

  it instructed parents to teach their children to 'not act independently of the organization, even in small matters'.

  i agree sd-7. just like the "kingdom control" part of the last talk of the special assembly day. i used to find the stuff they wrote funny, but now i find it scary, and i am worried by some of the people i used to associate with who are still in the cult.

  every year the wtbts asks a few select top elders / cos to "rate" the brothers in their circuit to see if they qualify to give talks on district conventions.

  it would seem that the society are concerned that some brothers are being a bit faddy in shaving their heads.

  this is great, the are making it impossible for people to be elders, and speakers as DC's. i've come to the conclusion that while its a cult, its not run by very bright men.

  wow, this talk was so crazy that even davidl7 a JW thinks its fake. that tells you right there that they are saying things at the assemblys that they havent in the past. its getting so crazy, that even JW's cant believe it! lol

  id be interested in hearing how this genius thinks the talk recording is fake. i love it, its just like on another forum the JW's on there claimed the awake with the children who died because they refused blood on the cover was a fake made by apostates. ROFL

  never for any reason, unless somehow they sold the kingdom hall to Harrah's and they made a local poker room out of it, then I would be regular and zealous.

  The CO's name is John Williams I think. The entire talk is worth a listen if you want to get a gauge at what the current problems are in the org, but the "kingdom control tightning" part is at the 28:00 minute mark.

  im not sure if its this one or his previous talk, but he also said something about being a JW since the 50's, and not once has Jehovah's organization "misled" him. I had to laugh at that one since he clearly was a JW during 75. Plus, if he makes a point to claim that Jehovah's org will not "mislead" us, then people must be talking about how the org is misleading them.

  "Brothers remember this, we are living under the kingdom now. Kingdom control will get tighter and tighter as we come close to the end of this system of things. Brothers, we are not directing our lives, the Kingdom is telling us how to live our lives today. In a couple of issues of the kingdom ministry, just recently, you go back and you check these kingdom ministries, and you will find the kingdom is actually telling us how to spend our money. Thats kingdom control, brothers. You see, satan wants us to feel that we are in full control of everything. No brothers, you see Jehovah is directing our lives. Remember that. And who better to direct our lives than our heavenly father? Kingdom control is directing how we live our lives now."
