  Poor homeless Bro. Larry Jackson

  theres a story in the ny daily news today that says this jw is homeless and was denied shelter after having a brief conversation with the woman who helped him with his application after he mentioned he was a jw.

  her reasoning of why she denied his application was that she thought he would go door to door in the 45-unit facility!

  i myself find that hilarious, he just mightve done that to get his time in!

  And it's funny how the arm chair atheist scholars here have OVERWHELMING evidence for disavowing the gospels. Yet, many experts still hold to their validity. Amazing.

  they hold to their validity as historical documents explaining the beliefs of the people writing it, or they hold to their validity as proof that Jesus is really a God man who actually did the things claimed by the writers? big difference between the 2.

  big news - i met with the elders last night.

  they were not arrogant and they were not mean spirited, but of course we all know they also would not budge from the jw brainwashed beliefs they are sworn to uphold.

  i let my light shine, and within two minutes of sitting down with them was no longer nervous.. .

  im late to the party, but am i correct that Ray's wife basicly filed for divorce and is isolate him from the kids because he disagrees with the WTS?

  if so, this is yet another example that facinates me, and that is, mates who are allowed to divorce because of apotasy. its like the dirty little secret loop hole. stories like that have been shared here many times. its crazy.

  So apparantly watchtower wants educated people to dumb themselves down and would rather they read the dumbed down edition of the watchtower. And a college educated person needs to "make big changes in their way of thinking, because its "complicated". LOL

  Its one thing to suggest that its good for children, but the suggestion that a person who is college educated would purposly dumb herself down so as to not think too "complicated" is laughable.

  And its hilarious when watchtower claims they are not anti education. Its clear they want stupid lemmings and fear education.

  Jehovah's Witness DC in Buckingham, Pa and the societies user friendly Hotel Arrangement

  this past sunday, i was browsing in the kingdom hall bulletin board.. i noticed that the list of "approved" hotels for the dc was up there.. noticed that in the assembly to take place in pennsylvania, only 2 hotels were in pennsylvania................ #3 on --> were in nj.

  so, i get on my smart phone and gps a route from hotel #3 in princeton, nj to buckingham, pa.. my little gadget tells me that there is 27.9 miles of driving and 46 minutes of traffic.................... do these sheeples have the stupidity of driving this far to an "approved" hotel?.

  are they blinded enough to not look for the 300 or more hotels in the county?.

  i remember they moved the convention in my area to a site that was 2 hours each way, and they told us that we should not get hotels because people who had to travel farther should get them. so on already an 8 hour day, they added 2 hours each way, so now thats 12 hours a day. thats if you went yourself, if you took the congregation bus, they left around 6am, and didnt get home until like 9 or 10 at night because they stayed until cleaning was done.

  i looked at my wife after the meeting in the car and said "there is no way im doing this, fortunatly she agreed, and we didnt go to another convention"

  as it turns out, jehovahs witnesses have monsters in the room with their children, and no one is telling them the monster is in the room!

  so it is not straight gambling.

  it can be compared to golf buddies betting on the game.. this will have implications for internet games.. if this is the case, why not intenet video games , like car racing, sports, shoot-outs...etc.

  i used to make a part time living playing poker online, then the goverment banned it and tried to shut down the major sites. now with this ruling hopefully i will be able to play again some day. quite a country we live in, i can go out and buy an AK-47, 6,000 rounds of ammo, cases of 40oz beers, but cant play a game of skill and smoke a joint.

  yeah, that makes sense. lol

  Is the Governing Body EVIL or IGNORANT?

  some of you will have noticed that i've been paying a lot of attention to the governing body recently.

  this is because most jehovah's witnesses venerate them collectively (even if they can't name them individually), and i feel this makes it important to understand this group of men properly and expose their mindset as individuals.

  as the saying goes, i feel it's important to "know your enemy".. i realize it's very convenient to think of the governing body as being "evil" when we consider that they are ultimately responsible for all the damaging jw teachings and beliefs.

  The Ray Franz quote about them being victims was true at the time. But once the book was written their blinders were off. And with all the information on the internet today and the court cases piling up the governing body can no longer claim ignorance. They are evil and willfully so!

  Exactly, and if you look at the way in which for example the drama's are written plus the super thought controlling way the literature has been written lately, there is no way they dont know what they are doing. they are master propagandists.
