predestination means the path of your life(death) is suppose to be determined at birth right?
its kind of a confusing subject.
Predestination = everything is the fault of some one or something else.
Free will = everything is the fault of the individual.
If you believe that "Adam and Eve" had free will, then, predestination is a falacy.
If you believe that the life of "Adam and Eve" was predestined, then, the apparent choice they were offered, was not, in fact, a choice.

I AM going to DIE!
I WILL live to the age of 70 years plus, if I am lucky and physically and mentally strong.
I WILL die before the age of 70 years if my health and lifestyle combine to rob me of a few precious years with my family and friends.
I WILL live to 90 or 100 years of age if I am very, very, very UNLUCKY. Most of my friends and acquaintances will be dead by then and I will not those persons that know and care for me.

I am not opposed to anything only those who oppose everything by generalisation. I include Mr. Dawkins in the latter grouping. His basic theory is that he is right in expounding his own alternative theories and all those who dissagree with his theory or support other equally unsupported theories are wrong. His need to make his arguements heard do not include free dispersal of his theories and beliefs.
All soap box preachers need the compensatory comfort of our Sterling, Dollars and Euro before they are willing to let the rest of us ignorant fools obtain the wisdom of their words by puchasing their literature and seeing for ourselves the folly of their and our own actions.
Evolution has failed to weed out mind sets such as his and who or what can one blame now ?
thinking out loud - my belief is that jw follows a false gospel.
that they got it wrong.
now, how to 'prove' that to a family member who is still jw?.
There is no need to supply proof that a lie is untrue, it is a basic courtesy to substantiate the truth of what you say.

Dawkins also believes that religious beliefs are man made and therefore open to criticism and fault.
He does not apply the same logic or criteria to his own dogma, unless of course his own theories are inspired by a higher power !

Dawkins basic tenet of belief is that
a) all those who believe in God are stupid
and
b) only stupid people believe in God.
My questions to Mr. Dawkins is as follows -
a) Are there stupid Athiests ?
and
b) Are those who blindly follow the beliefs of Mr. Richard Dawkins stupid ?
