Autism and deveopmental delays my story
by milligal ini really need to share this story and it's in hopes someone else finds it enlightening or helpful....i know there are a lot of other people out there who have 'difficult' kids and get the third degree from teachers, relatives and friends.
here's my story, how my family worked through two huge challenges, the symptoms, the diagnoses and the practical tasks that helped us:.
my son with autism-my oldest son was an angel at home, quiet, loved to draw and from a yound age would spend hours drawing and painting.

My career field deals with the developmentally disabled adults, plus I have a disabled family member. I can be very very difficult. Somedays I go home from work in tears from our autistic client, and I GET TO GO HOME. I can only imagine how hard it must be. I commend your efforts, your patience, and your perseverence. Hang in there.

Yes I'm still writting, I am almost done with my first novel. I only have editing to complete on it actually. I have a second one ready to be written as soon as I'm done. I hate to brag but Its GOOD. I have a real talent for writting. (But I type so damn fast I dont look for errors) I came to the JWD by internet search and fell in love with it. I like variety (i need stimulation and creativity) and the way it changes daily is perfect for me. I still only get my daughter fifity fity. My daughter has a guardian ad litem now so the divorce process is well under way. The judge refused to make any temp changes in the mean time because my liar soon to be ex in making the customary false accusations of drug use and alcohol use (total bull) and he wanted a guard ad litem involded first....

absolutely not. I had a horrible sense of "not good enough". I never felt like I was living up to my potential. How could I? We were always belittled and told we were supposed to do more, be more, give more. I was constantly in a fear of dread, that God was about to exercise judgement against me for my sins in some sort of illness or injury. I was told once that my back injury was an attack by satan on me to keep me from the hall. It was fear, always fear.
