I was raised a Jehovah's Witness and was a pioneer. I was disfellowhiped in the early 80's. Because of what they taught, I thought God left me. I remained in a limbo away from Him for many years. About 4 years ago I began searching Him out diligently. It was a difficult journey. I was born again on October 27, 1999 in a big way. It is wonderful to be free of the JW guilt and to know that God never left me as I was taught, rather I had left Him. Jesus reclaimed what was His. Me!
