Very Rare! "MILITARISM" by JFR

Date would be before August 1916 because page 2 says more then a year has passed since august 1914 and it would likely have said more then 2 years if it was later then that. I found the following reference on my hard disk to it: From time to time collectors of Watchtower publications find, what can truly be considered a "Rare" publication. Well, this past week, Tower Discount Books found a publication that fits that description. It is a booklet written by Joseph Franklin Rutherford, prior to his "election" as the second President of the International Bible Students. The booklet is entitled "Militarism". And it measures 6" x 9" in size; and is 16 pages in length. Prior to finding this copy, there was only one known copy know amongst collectors of WT publications. One other major collector/dealer has a laminated copy of it. Therefore, to our knowledge, there are only two known copies of this rare booklet. Since there is only one known copy of Rutherford's rare booklet entitled "Man's Salvation", this must be considered the second rarest publication written by Rutherford. We will be holding on to it until further notice, at which time, we may either, sell it or auction it off. Thanks Nathan I am glad that it is finally available online. I have been looking for it for a long time but there are only a few copies left, so the price for original copies is way to high for "normal" people.

Nathan, You asked about "Militarism, How will it be Forever Destroyed? a Masterly discourse by J.F.Rutherford of the New York City Bar." It was a book Rutherford wrote before he became President. I have only seen it 1 time. It is very very rare. Like "Man's Salvation", which Rutherford wrote in 1906, I do not know the date it was published only that it was before him becoming president. Maybe someone else has more info on it.

1879 Herald of the Morning PDF!
by cabasilas inthis should be of interest to history buffs.. i've scanned the january to june issues of herald of the morning for the year 1879. this is, of course, the journal c.t.
i'll let others discuss particulars.
the january issue contains their current understanding of time prophecies and seems to issue stronger statements about what they were expecting for 1881 than i've seen elsewhere.

Cabasilas try Google Books.
You have to search different all the time.
Charles Taze Russell, C.T. Russell only part of the title etc. because they did not index very well.
also What Say the Scriptures about Spirituality 1897 is available at Google Books
For those outside the US try using a anonymiser that lets You saywich country You want to be in.
