It was based on a scripture about Joseph´s generation, I think Exodus 1:5,6. Also they said that anointed that are new (see Yearbook numbers)are not replacement for those that left the organisation and died in that state. That would not make much sense to me, why they would say that, since that would be easier to tell the flock than that Jehovah has saved a spot free up untill now.

New light: Generation
by 5thGeneration ingot some info from the annual meeting.. unofficially, the 'generation' is now categorized as 2 groups.
the first is 'the 1914 group' and the second is the younger anointed 'contemporaries' who 'actually work for a period of time with those anointed ones'.. the 'generation' is now 'the lifespan of those who actually saw the beginning of the sign and then the lifespan of those who worked with those who saw the beginning of the sign'.. here we go again....

Did anyone notice the blank parts, in the pdf, You wonder if the hardcopy has a blank their. It was said that pictures that where under copyright would be replaced with other pictures , but blank is probably easier. If nobody scannes the original the extra articles will stay hidden from many of us.

Forum is GREAT, but...are there any ex JW chatrooms if we need a steady dialog?
by 20+wastedYRS ini am happy to have found this forum and will be reading and posting frequently.
but... i have wished at times that i could have a good steady dialog on certain, more puzzleing issues and a chatroom would be perfect for those instances.. anyone know of one?.
also, one other quick question... while very active in "truth", i researched the whole beard issue and came up totally empty on my search.. btw: i have a beard now!!!

I have seen elders who had a beard, the only ones complaining where those that shaved of theirs in the 70´s because of "peer pressure". They never got on the platform at the C.A. because of their beard, because of the letter from the G.B.. In some Countries even a mustache was not done for a witness.
I have seen people that never got baptised because of the beard issue and the fact that the brothers where unable to show in the bible why it was not good to have a beard, when even Jesus is pictured with a beard.
The connection with some political and\or religious parties and with certain groups like hippies where some of the reasons given, for the no beard rule.

CO´s en DO´s are elders just like the Secratary and the Cotboe are elders(and the GB members are also elders), so they should be included in the total count of elders. MS´s and the rest are not.
Just wondering if another member of the congregation would be the molester and he is not expelled the other members that know about it would still not be allowed to warn the rest of the congregation. How would that affect them in a lawsuit, I think they are guilty because the rest of the congregations children are the next possible victims, that could have been avoided if the parents new about it. (and took it seriously, of course many off them, will say he has been repentend otherwise he would not still be a member of the congregation and not consider him or her dangerous)

Questions From Readers Nov 15th 2009
by dozy inthe latest flip-flop (allbeit a minor one.).
the "wise instruction" (as described by the society) given is that sisters now have to wear head coverings when interpreting sign language public talks.. differs from the previous instructions that sisters didn't need to do so.. .

I think it was the book Qualified to be ministers that said that the best reader should read if that was a sister she should do it because it is important that the message is understood by those in attendance. I know that many elders would not let a sister read even if they read it in the literature.
Has anyone seen the November 15, Watchtower on the internet as pdf?

by cabasilas inwhat were jehovah's witnesses (then known as the international bible students with j.f.

Great pdf. Thanks. It has some other pictures than the regular Finished Mysteries and even others than the ones like the 1918 red pocked edition and the 850.000 winged globe edition which do have many extra pictures like those of the seven messengers and others.
"When Pastor Russell was with us he gave direction that the BIBLE STUDENTS MANUAL should be prepared by Clayton J. Woodworth, also of Scranton, Pa. This MANUAL was published by this Society, and has proven a great blessing too the household of faith. preparation of this MANUAL required a critical exammation of everything Pastor Russell had written; and thus Brother Woodworth was enabled to become more familiar, probably, than anyone else.with the explanation of the Scriptures which had been given by Brother. Russell. In this manner the Lord seemed to have qualified him for some special work. With the "key" which Brother RusseIl as the Lord's servant, had placed in his hands, faith, and more courage to the stronger ones. We believe Brother Woodworth, by the Lord's grace, has been enabled to bring together everything. that Brother Russell wrote on Revelation, and to explain and harmonize other parts of that book with the divine plan; also, to treat similarly the Song of Solomon."
"This, Scripture Studies, Vol. VII, is the final message of the true church of God"
Is there a pdf of the Bible Student Manual?
