this sermon by rutherfords was delivered to the n.y.bethel family when being transfered to train en route to atlanta georgia state penitantiary.. page 2:"the spring of 1918 came, and the evidence began to increase that the harvest was closing,".

a new version of studies in the scriptures volume 1 is available online for download at google books it is the 1904 1.298.000 edition with the booklet a critisism of millenial hopes examined (starts on page 350 of the pdf).

the overland monthly is available at the internet archive as scanned issues (pdf) http://www.archive.org/ search for californian overland monthly in american libraries

they have many article's by russell from volume 53 up to 69 and in the 1917 edition also rutherford (bioghrapy of russell) just a view volume's are still missing (55 and 60) volume 72 mentions a book by russell
