I think they could garnish any wages,or payments he might receive,as with any judgment,though..not quite sure how to make that happen though,i thought most times it's court ordered by the presiding judge, and not extinguished till you've been paid off.-KenShim

Somebody hurt my baby! :S
by Elsewhere inonce again someone hurt nancy, my little mini cooper.
this time they popped the front driver side window, broke it all out, stole my tomtom gps, ripped apart the center console and tore up the 12 volt plug while ripping the gps power cable out.
the police came out and did the whole fingerprint thing and got a few bits and pieces of some prints, but we won't know if anything will come of it.

Something(s) I always wondered about...
by KenseiShimonzu inwas,if jehovah was going to bring about armegeddon to destroy the "wicked"humans who may live an average of 75 yrs +/-,who may not even know of him in their lifetime..why would he allow satan, who was directly associated with him,to exist for as long as he has?..seems to me,it would have been an instantaneous destruction because he already knew better..it would have been worse than blasphemy.. he even allowed him complete control over the earth to do as he wishes...also,if he isn't destroyed at some point, how would humans know?
no human can see spirit creatures..therefore there could be no proof that he didn't exist anymore(i.e a body).
another thing that has always bugged me about that whole scenario..why would "jehovah" the supreme creator, have the need to justify his right to rule,to a lesser spirit creature that he created...i liken it to a son telling his father that he knows better than the father about how the household should be run....sort of a moot point.

Also,if Jehovah is omnipotent, and knew all of what was going to be happening in our times...why didn't he just destroy "Adam and Eve" at the Garden of Eden since they supposedly were the first, and ONLY ones to sin firsthand? Why would he let the world get fully populated just to destroy everyone later after they've been left to their own devices for so long? I know about the "letting man prove to himself that he doesn't have the right to rule over himself"thing, but that goes back to same point about the creator having to debate his authority with his creation
It would seem to me,that it would have been easier to destroy A&E AND Satan, then create a new A&E and wipe even the memory of them from the other angels mind so as there would be no questions about it
Also, why was "free will"such a big deal?...if Angels didn't have free will, how did Satan decide to do what he did? Or was he just following orders he was given? How did, some Angels decide to come down and create bodies, and do the whole "Nephilim"thing if they had no free will?
Also,if all the "evil" in the world is destroyed..how would something be classified as"good"..what is the polar opposite of "good"?
Just some things i always wondered about.....

What JW Beliefs Did You...
by Abandoned inwhat jw beliefs did you make up for your own sanity?.
for me it was regarding the flood.
instead of believing that god had destroyed millions of people, i imagined that because of all the violence, by the time the flood came, the only people besides noah and his family that were still alive were the nephilim.

I always personally believed that even if Armegeddon did come, and all the "wicked" were destroyed, they'd just be resurrected along with everybody else who died. Reason being, they would have died for their sins, therefore they would have a clean slate to start from. I often used to ask various ones in there.."would if Hitler got resurrected in "The New System"...would that stumble you? or would you be able to accept J's decision to do so without questioning it?"
And as far as destruction at Armegeddon was concerned,I also kinda believed that it wouldn't be a selective thing like Dubs think it will be....if it did happen, then EVERYBODY would go down for the wrong they've done..."and thus death spread to all men,for they had all sinned"..then EVERYBODY would get a resurrection, and that nice perfect body they always brag about getting, could be made from scratch...along with everyone else's...

OOOOOooh sorry to hear about the break in,I had that happen one time when i was a "Theocrat"....needless to say it doesn't happen anymore because it's back to business as usual, there's only two choices a thief will get with me:Manual or Automatic...that's enough of a "theft deterrent".
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to recoup your costs though, through the police report, and resulting charges,it should be easy to prove the thief's liability in the issue. Might wanna call of the "Small claims division"at your county courthouse on that though,to see the limitations, burden of proof, etc.I'm not a lawyer,i just occasionally play one on the internet:P-KenShim

To tell the truth,i can believe it..it reminds me of the time a "sister" reported to the elders, that my family was,i guess, secretly partaking in Christmas celebrations because when she came over to study with my sister, she saw a bag of Christmas sugar cookies somewhere..They even had the audacity to question my mom about it later,at which point she explained to them that she bought them, because it was AFTER Christmas, and they were heavily discounted.

The Power of DA
by freydi ini read with sadness the various travails of those who are in and want out but haven't, mostly for the sake of family, the unmitigated temerity to df the borg, and are just waiting for the inevitable kangaroo miscarriage of justice by a jc to pull your plug, and then consoling yourself with thinking that the hounders may have had a sleepless night or two once they'd done their dirty business.
of course you know that after a night or two they've deleted you from their hard drives, so the consolation is pretty much short-lived.
but it seems to me that to give, not only the hounders, but the whole circuit lingering and on-going second thoughts, that maybe they're the ones who are in the wrong and how many others there might be, is when they don't get a chance to hang some bum rap you, and you give them the pink slip.

Newb Introduction....
by KenseiShimonzu ini'd like to formally introduce myself to everyone here,as the title, and my post count reflects...i'm new around here although i think i may have stumbled across the site sometime before i decided to stop going down there at all, because it looks very familiar,i could have sworn i read an article about jw's real involvement in the holocaust on here at some time.
i've seen some very interesting topics hereabouts,as well as point of views, just wish i would have found you guys sooner so that i could have avoided that whole "thing" down there.
but anyways, this is my formal "hello" to everyone, and hope we can be friends.
