I don't know, ms. I told him that although I'm only a little bit mad at him, I mostly feel pity for him, that does not mean that I have to subject myself to this for the rest of my life.

Thanks Satanus! I've missed it here! It will probably have to be a brief visit. I'm going back to college and with that, a toddler and work I'm pretty swamped... But, what you said is true. Our time here is brief...

I've been thinking about what my next move is going to be. I think I have a pretty good strategy but have to work out a couple of the details.

They didn't do anything about it. Guess cause I'm considered inactive? Well, he moved to a new hall and went to 1 meeting with him. Didn't even stay the whole time. And now they wanted to meet with me. So, I met with them.
Well, I didn't deny it when they asked but I didn't admit anything either. Let me just say, I've been trying for years to make this work with my husband. Trying to reach agreements that we could meet each other halfway on... Everything was going fine until he decided to go back in again.
I feel like I'm getting to the point where I'm just done with this relationship. I mean, all that work just down the drain cause one day he woke up and just changed his mind. I don't want to go through this anymore... It's always a struggle and I'm done with it. And there is no way in hell I'm letting my child grow up in this cult.

question for those with husbands/wives in the borg
by Evidently Apostate inhow do you respond when they question your enlightenment?
do you find yourself holding back explaining specific doctrinal flaws or let it fly both barrels?
i know we want our loved one to see things for what they are but even a tactfull response will cause the borg teachings to take over and everything becomes an absolute with my wife.

My hubbys in. There has been a lot of compromise. We celebrate "so-and-so's happy day" instead of birthdays. We'll have a winter party instead of Christmas, and so forth.
He just went to a spiritual gathering with me. It wasn't a religion or in a Church.
We will give our daughter different viewpoints and ideas.
He has to meet me halfway and I have to meet him halfway on everything. It's worked so far.

Abuse of Authority and Tax Exemptions in the WT Organization
by OnTheWayOut ini will relay this as hearsay as i was not personally involved, but perhaps some of you can personally attest to such abuses for the apologists out there.. even this "hearsay" was verified by another person who was involved to some extent.. this spanish former elder told a two-fold story about abuse of authority and abuse of the tax exemption that wts has.. tax exemption- his story was about how, in the building of an assembly hall in illinois, the people in charge of various portions of the project bought materials and automobiles with the tax exemption number given to them.
among their materials and automobiles were materials and automobiles for their home and personal use.
he then went on to describe the situation a double kingdom hall with six spanish congregations found itself in.
