Anyone do sales for a living by any chance?
by cognac ini just started in sales recently and have been really good at it.
of course, i grew up a jw, lol.. anyways, i was working on closing an account and took another guy at my work with me to go over the specifications and get quotes and that sort of thing.
well, after the meeting he called and emailed her to ask further questions without my knowledge.. so, i called her yesterday and she completely flipped out about the way he treated her saying that he was pressuring her and bullying her.

I think you might be right GO... Now, he f'ed up my commission. The lady is so mad she is calling the president of our company. Hopefully, I will get more details of what exactly happened and what he said to piss her off so bad...
If it is proved he lied to us and tried to close it behind my back, I should get one of his accounts...

I just started in sales recently and have been really good at it. Of course, I grew up a JW, lol.
Anyways, I was working on closing an account and took another guy at my work with me to go over the specifications and get quotes and that sort of thing. Well, after the meeting he called and emailed her to ask further questions without my knowledge.
So, I called her yesterday and she completely flipped out about the way he treated her saying that he was pressuring her and bullying her. So much so that she doesn't want to do business with us now. He said that he said nothing wrong to her and that she is just using him as an escape goat because she doesn't want to work with us.
I feel like he should never have called her or emailed her without my involving me, so it's his fault regardless of what he did or didn't say. Am I right? Part of me feels like he was trying to close it himself to get credit for it somehow and bullied her to do it. What are your thoughts on this?

Prelude to a disfellowshipping
by rory-ks ini was 25 years a congregation member; ten years an elder; all told, up to 18 years an appointed man; a decade or so as a full-time minister; assembly speaker, with the pinnacle giving the public discourse at a district convention.. .
i stopped being an active member of the congregation in november 2010, but it had been brewing for several years, with the customary gradual drifting away - all the necessary mental gymnastics as my spiritual views changed and doubts set in; quitting the theocratic ministry school; ceasing to answer; sitting quietly off to the side.
i think the straw that broke the camels back was when family worship inevitably became family worship.

What was your most embarassing WTF experience with a fanatical witness??
by Reality79 inwe've all known those fanatical witnesses who are guilty of pdf (public display of faith) and always have to make a big song and dance to the whole world and let everyone and their dog know they're a faithful witness of jay hoover!.
1) when my mother first came in 'da troooof' this wacky, over zealous 'sister' was studying with her - you know the type.
this woman was one of those not so subtle individuals who would always talk loud in conversation and say the name jehovah a million times even when the conversation could have been about basketball.

Ok, I've thought of a story...
I was a teenager and was doing door to door with my friend. She goes to the door, lies about what her name is, then makes up a name for me... All the meanwhile laughing the whole time, lol. Then, she says that I have something I want to say to them. Omg, I had no idea what to say. In the end, since I was on the spot and nervous, by accident I told the householder my real name, lol.

Adultery A Gift From Jehovah! i
by Was New Boy inback when i was a jw and an attendent at the km.
i was looking at everyone sitting there at the meetings.
it was amazing when i realized that the majority of married couples that where sitting there had either mean married to someone else before, or had sex with other people before they had got into the "tooth.

WNB - You attracted to the kitten or the lion, lol?
I was the same way with the JW sex... I remember thinking it was really good a couple of times... Then, I found out how it was supposed to be... lol... WOW! What a difference... Guess I was like you... Nothing much to compare it to... Plus, there was so many things I didn't know.
Anyways, I can see wanting to make up for lost time... For me, all of a sudden there was so much exploring to do, lol. Now, even though compared to most people I haven't been with a lot of people still, although I thought 4 was kinda high to me, I think I'm crazier then 95% of worldly people... I think because you become like a spring that's held down for so long... Once your let loose, you go like a speeding bullet the opposite way...

PS. Question for any brave souls....How many sex partners have you had in or out of the "Borg?"
I've had sex with 4 people -2 while in, and the rest while out... Been madly in-love with one of them.

Ok, I don't really get this. Why aren't the individuals getting penalized for not getting the background check instead of the society?
Also, I still don't get how the WT Corporation in NY would be affected at all...
