A little wine for the stomaches sake.
by olongapo joe inone of my pop's favorite bible quotes.
as a youngster as soon as i could open the refrigerator, the old man would say "bryan get me a beer", and i was rewarded a drink or two from the can, 50 years later, i am an alcoholic, good news is i realize i am an alcoholic and am working on it.
actually hope to replace the booze with weed, as i can get violent with booze, but just chill with weed.

knock knock
by Sabin inif jw`s come knocking at your door, do you open it & engage in conversation, tell them to sod off, or just not answer the door?.
my husband`s has asked me not to answer the door to them if he isn't here?
he hate`s the fact that they make a point of calling when they know he will be at work.

Witnesses killed my friend today.
by WasOnceBlind intoday has been a horrible day.
what began as a day of joy finding out that one of my lifelong friends had her baby, turned into a nightmare when her brother called me to let me know she had passed away after birth.
i was in shock and didn't ask how.

This has taken me days to read as it's so completely heartbreaking and hits so close to home for me. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I had complications in giving birth to my first child and was faced with having to make a decision about the blood transfusion. I had figured out ttatt but had it been a year prior it could have so easily gone the other way... It was scary, and I was very, very sick and had a hard time thinking straight.
Please understand, in those final moments she was very, very sick. She didn't know ttatt and couldn't think straight. I don't believe she had the thought process to fully understand the consequences of her decision at all in those moments and completely reacted in fear because she was already scared. I remember that feeling like it was yesterday.... I'm so sorry for her and for her precious baby...
What an awful thing to happen...
I'm so, so sorry....

How do I handle this situation?
by BarelyThere inhey everyone.
i'm sorry that this isn't a very thought provoking post but i could really use some advice on how to handle this.
there isn't anyone else in my life i can ask right now because, being dfed, all of my friends are "worldly" and don't know how witnesses function.
