If interested in something like the Total Gym look for something used - you don't really need a high end version of it either.
I go to the gym. They have a pool, hot tub, and sauna... Plus, they watch my baby... HUGE incentive for me to go there and work out!!!

count every calorie
I have no idea how to count calories. I don't think I take in a lot because I don't eat a ton. How many calories are you supposed to have a day? How do you know how many calories something has on it if it's not labeled - like a piece of fruit or a muffin?
eat 5 fruits and veggies a day and excersise at least 30 min a day
I'm working on it!
Weight lifting. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn even at rest. As in sitting in front of the computer
lol, I usually do cardio. I thought weight lifting would make you bigger... The guys at the gym who do the training keep asking about doing a training with them but I didn't really want to cause I thought I'd get bigger. Shows how much I know...

It helps to do some sort of endurance exercise, like jogging, biking, or swimming on a regular basis. That increases the work of slow twitch muscles which in turn stimulates an increase in mitochondria. It is mitochondria that uses fat to create energy. Also, make sure you have a diet that has plenty of fiber so that your elimination is good, which means you'll need to increase your water intake. People are literally full of $hit that doesn't get eliminated like it should, and that adds a lot of extra weight, not to mention it just doesn't feel good.

the 35-pounds of weight lost is a pleasant side effect.
I lost 34 pounds in 6 days... That was after having a baby though... Of course, I almost died giving birth...
The rest of the weight is unpleasantly sticking to me no matter what I friggen do...
