  hi guys - new poster here.

  i was brought up a jw in the uk and stopped going not long after i was married.

  that was 20 years ago so i'm not really up to date with the current doctrinal flip flops or the new youtube obsessed gb.. came across this site while googling the name of a local elder who's just been convicted of possesion of a pc full of unpleasant pics of kids.. so, my question.

  Landry- Don't do this round about answering thing where you avoid the question. You quoted JW-Rogues post and then stated, "One of the few things I've learned in this life is that first and foremost you have to be true to yourself. If you can't be true to yourself then you can't be true to anyone else."

  You state someone isn't being true to themselves but in the same breath you say you understand their reasons for doing it. imo, that is judgement all and condescending. Don't take us for idiots. Don't tell someone they aren't being true to themselves but you, "understand".

  New "most frustratingly addictive game ever" to play - agar.io

  one of my kids got me hooked on this.

  it's incredibly simple but also kind of fun and addictive.. you start as a small cell and need to eat things to grow.

  that's pretty much the game.. of course as you get bigger you can eat smaller cells too ... and bigger ones can eat you.. as you get bigger you get slower but you can "eject mass" to shrink and speed you up (w key).

  One of the few things I've learned in this life is that first and foremost you have to be true to yourself. If you can't be true to yourself then you can't be true to anyone else.

  i don't have the option to 'undislike' after i touch it.

  we let the qualified buyers participate in a competitive bidding process and see where the market goes with it, devine told the eagle.. doesn't this logic reflect the same expectation of gambling or buying a lottery ticket?

  you don't know if you are going to win big or if you're just going to come out even or lose your $1 investment.. how do they know there's not going to be another market or housing crash the next day and get pennies for their properties?.

  how can they honestly say: "...see where the market goes with it" and at the same time condone other for playing lottery tickets or gambling or leaving things to chance like not getting higher education.

  Fink - it's not just the building projects that gave them financial stress.

  One would think that it would be relieved through the selling of the Brooklyn properties. I am no longer of that opinion. But, no matter what is said in this thread, the only public proof of what is fact will be time...

  Your "facts" are actually your opinions.

  So what your saying then Cognac is that the WTS postulating the we need more card is due to undisclosed law suits ?

  No, it's a culmination of things.
