  Whatever God's organization asks of her she strives to do.

  But the Bible clearly says "that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule". (1. Pet. 3:3) It is my obligation to fulfill this prophecy.

  why did they use the 'the witchtower' as the title

  The idea behind that title was the following: According to WT teaching, witches are associated with the devil, thus something detestable to God (and to Jehovah's Witnesses). But actually their own teachings are at least as demonic and occult as the pagan ones. So, instead of a tower that watches, they are a tower of demons.

  Does anyone have a problem with that explanation? Should I rename the magazine to "The Washtowel"?

  German user "wasistwahrheit" found out that the new regulation is actually "new light", for this was the previous teaching:

  The Bible, however, sets forth no visible symbol for Christianity. Christians today, therefore, must be on guard not to adopt such a symbol. For example, watchtower-like designs appear on some buildings and Kingdom Halls of Jehovah’s Witnesses. There is nothing wrong with these in themselves. Possibly they may help persons to identify property owned by Jehovah’s Witnesses. However, at no time should anyone look upon such things with reverence, as if they were a visible sign of Christianity.

  It shows using official pictures from WT literature that the Watchtower logo is used on various kingdom halls - which is illegal according to new km.

  I suppose the WT will proove all congregation around the world are free

  AFAIK all kingdom halls in Germany belong to the Watchtower Society now. Some weeks before I left JWs, an elderly sister complained about the fact that the kingdom hall that was built with her money has been transferred to the WTS.

  Processor this must be something to do with the launch of the Witchtower and Erbrechet. It's more than coincidence.

  Actually, the Witchtower copied the exact Watchtower design except the logo. It was omitted from the beginning. Seems that Jehovah gave me prophetic insight to know of the change before it was published.

  And Erbrechet! has been launched in December 2007. Though the "new light" takes some hundred years from the Pleiades to Brooklyn (a fact that will be covered in one of the next Witchtower issues), it cannot be the reason.

  Actually ... am I allowed to own a copy of the Watchtower? It contains the protected Watchtower logo!
