so i talked to my dear aunt who is disfellowshipped but still has to interact with my elderly jw witness and masquerading jw aunt (really doesn't agree with the jw doctrine, but lives with my grandmother to take care of her) and she told me that there are now two watchtowers published, one that they use for congregation and the other for their "field service".. why do you suppose they are really doing that?
is it because they are trying to keep things from the public eyes?
i was really surprised to hear that..
IMO the major reason is to conceal unattractive doctrines from the public.
Brochure: "God will do away with the wicked."
Public Watchtower: "God will do away with all people who do not obey him."
Internal Watchtower: "God will do away with all people who do not obey the Governing Body."

Matt 25:31 Jesus said when the son of man, kingly throne 1914. The CO said we have NEW UNDERSTANDING or new light. Previously we had thought the throne talked about in matt 25:31, Jesus had already took that throne in 1914. The new idea is that he hasn't taken that throne yet. This is kind of odd to me because how many thrones could Jesus have? He said that Jesus has two thrones one he took in 1914 and one he will take in the future. I presume he will take his second throne sometime around armageddon.
This is no new light. If the CO said that "previously we had thought the throne talked about in matt 25:31, Jesus had already took that throne in 1914", then he didn't read the Oct 15 1995 Watchtower (page 22 par. 25):
This means, then, that Jesus’ ‘sitting down on his glorious throne’ for judgment, mentioned at Matthew 25:31, applies to the future point when this powerful King will sit down to pronounce and execute judgment on the nations.
and it does not disappoint.
the first century brothers are on the cover, going door to door with what look like leather messenger bags.. the first article is entitled, are all "christians" christian.
and you can tell by the picture that anyone with a beard or goatee is definitely not a real christian.. the next article, remain in my word has this quote that condemns catholics but seems eerily close to what jws believe:.
