  after The Witchtower, I also translated some articles from "Unser Kürbisreichsdienst" (meaning "Our Pumpkin-empire Ministry", sounding similar to "Our Kingdom Ministry" in German).

  Are you bilingual from early childhood? I am kind of amazed. To make puns of this sort requires a real command of a language

  No, my parents do not speak English at all. I often work with colleagues from different countries and use English then.

  But two of the articles (about thinking and kingdom melodies) are loosely based on real WT/Awake ones ... so I stole some sentences from there. Also, there are lots of good dictionaries out there

  It goes to show anyone can pick and choose scriptures to back up a belief.

  Yes ... one of my intentions is to show that you can proof really everything with the Bible. And that you can do the same with other texts. I also created an article series "The prophecy of the Brothers Grimm - Light for All Mankind". I think I will translate the first one for the next issue.

  Hmm .. any other name suggestions are welcome. "The washtowel" sounds good to me.

  The name "witchtower" might be a hint that they are guided by evil spirits (as they say that witches are in contact with those) ...

  Regarding that old publication ... I only know German version:

  

  It says that apostates had been killed under the mosaic law, but we cannot do that today because we don't live in a theocratic nation, and the worldly law and the "law of the christ" forbid such action - even if the apostates are our relatives.

  Hi folks,

  I have published a German magazine called "Erbrechet!" for more than a year now. ("Erbrechet!" means "Vomit!" but sounds like "Erwachet!" which is the German title of "Awake!".)

  I decided to translate some "best of" articles into English and publish those as a new magazine called "The Witchtower".

  I'm the creator of the above-mentioned "Erbrechet!" magazine. If there would be interest, I could translate a few outstanding articles to English. Or, of course, if someone from you wants to translate the text, he can do that. I could either provide original Word files or integrate the translated text by myself ...
